This is true and pure Devine, ustad sitar guitar and the tabla with orchestra brings the true sounds of India, like as we are seeing and travelling around india
Looks like some ruffians in the comment section thinks they know better music and can type anything they wish to a stature of man like Pt. Tanmoy Bose whose credibility is beyond questionable and reaches excellence which was highly praised by legends as well as people all over the world....we need to remember this is a fusion where sarod is the main instrument accompanied with the violin section performed by the western musical troup which leads us to a direction and to give perfect accompany one need to keep up the tempo not showing too much skills which may disturb the atmosphere only to understand the situation and adjust yourself which Pt. Bose did brilliantly otherwise this show would not be a perfect blend between eastern and western music and create such an amazing atmosphere but would turn out into a mess....only a genius like Pt.Bose can give such accompany and yes of course ustadji guided him which is much like a guidance from a father to his son angd by the way, which every senior performer does in concerts to the junior performer which does not mean anything going wrong or the junior performer knows nothing....if someone thinks so it is laughable and shows verry little knowledge about musical concerts....Pandit Ravi Shankar, Ustad Ali Akbar Khan everybody did
Do the twain ever meet? Well the have been meeting in popular space. Where else but movie music. On the classical front every recent concerto recording of Ustad Amjad Ali Khan and Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia(Adi Anant) sound rooted in the Sitar concertos of Pandit Ravi Shankar in 1960's. A slightly different treatment of a chamber orchestra is there in Garden of Dreams and Journey by Ustad Ali Akbar Khan. A symphonic album is Raga Moods by V. Balsara. Ultimately everything traces back to Baba. The maestro of maestros Ustad Alauddin Khan
(Continuing my previous comment)........By the way Pt. Tanmoy Bose is accompanying with Ustad Amjad Ali Khan since 1986 and did surely for more than 20years at least and that also after Ustadji selected him as he loved his craft from all over India....Pt. Bose has accompanied Ustadji in the royal palace where hearing his tabla the royal family moved away and awarded him & also he accompanied with the 9 biggest musical groups all over the world had had played tabla in more than 3 Grammy winning pieces with Pt. Ravi Shankar....so, the punk who thinks he knows tabla better and commented that Tanmoy Bose doesn't practice at all maybe he could teach us as well as Shri Bose how to practice Tabla & to another mean minded ruffian chap who dared to compare between two geniuses....Pt. Satyajit Talwalkar is a legend of his own stature but comparing one with other on the basis of lack of knowledge shows nothing but how cheap a comment can be & on the comment 'Ustadji parishan ho gaye' this punk knows nothing about acoompany nothing about classical music performance and the comment itself is laughable, disgusting and has full of audacity as such a comment came from a 3rd rated lout who knows nothing and boasts irrationally as well as irritatingly !!
