A major part of the appeal of the Yakuza games is in the visceral pleasure the player receives from the beating the ever-loving shit out of people who truly deserve it most. The Beast mode style and accompanying theme music represents said pleasure best.
The only thing i don't like is that it's only slightly slower attacks than Brawler style, but virtually no movement options. It's the equivalent of playing a tank. Meanwhile, Brawler attacks slow, and it's only winning option over the other two is it'a guard and it's retaliation ability. Otherwise i see virtually no reason to use it over Rush and Beast. If i want brutality i go beast. If i want speed i'll go Rush. It's probably the fact i'm still on chapter 2 just dickin around, but i really see no reason to use brawler at all at this point.
@@darkxells365 Brawler as it upgrades gets really powerful, especially if you get Kiryu drunk which gets him access to unique and powerful moves he can only use while drunk with later upgrades.
@@darkxells365 I think the reason is because 0 tries to make all of his styles a bit more "play around with these styles and see which one you enjoy the most" before giving you the option to upgrade them. Yakuza Kiwami balances them out a little bit and you kind of know what you're getting into.
Best part is when you upgrade your styles, use Rush and then use a Heat Move with brawler(when hes guarding) and go Beast, press circle and slam him 3 times and then use a Heat Move. Plus theres a chance he'll charge at the wrong direction
The untucked shirt really conveys that this is kiddy Kazzy. He's still unrefined and just relying on brute strength. He makes a lot of mistakes and clumsy moves, hes a lot less controlled and restrained than he will later become. Still throwing a motorcycle is something I wish he kept in his arsenal. He's also trying a lot less to stick out and looks less like a delinquent scrapper and more like a calm giant whose prepared to talk down aggression but is always ready to fight should he really need to
*BEAST STYLE* After seeing Miss Tatsu, a real badass woman, beat a street thug which is a much stronger foe, while using brutal force and Also using a simple plastic but hard to break object as a weapon around her and crashing it in his Head, gave you inspiration that no matter How strong your enemies are you Will be much stronger, while dropping ALL of your weight in your arms and using hard to break objects as weapons, like motorcycles or bikes etc.
Fair note: Motorcycles, on average, weigh around 400 to 800 lbs., with some even going beyond 1000 lbs... And this man just lifts one like it's a fucking lawn chair.
I'm so happy for the people who started this series on 0 to find out down the line that one protagonist is just "Beast Style But It's Always Active" Midair lariat hours, boys. On that *tiger* shit.
Don't get me wrong I love Saejima, he's one of the best characters in the series. But I had way more fun in beast style than Saejima. His fighting style just felt so... unsatisfying outside of his heat actions.

He HAS to have killed somebody at some point.
