I'm well aware that the noblest vengeance is to forgive.But what about accountability for one's own actions ?? Should we also forgive all the murderous inmates in prison ?? There is no need for hell,if God forgive all......;)))))
War bring out the worse and the best in all of us.It all depend on how we choose to respond to a given situation.Wether it be noble or despicable.It all depends on the strenght of character of each man.Some Lon Nol soldiers spat on their executioners and laughed out loud prior to recieving a bullet to the head.Some fought to the death,to the very last drop.Some surrender,some fled the country,some chose the rope and the branches of Bodha trees from here to eternity.Some even took to the other side and went along for the ride ( Lon Nol soldier today and Pol Pot the next ).
