Beautiful DIY! came out great and you did such a good job of explaining the process In the most simple and clearest way possible. You made me feel confident in attempting this myself! Thank you for posting this 😊
Thanks, nice clear demo, looks easy enough. One comment though, it would be nice to understand why 1" tubing vs 1/2", and how long a piece... and flexible tubing vs pvc for example. If the pump was more powerful would that make a big difference or is it based on the size of pot you used?
Hi Fat Fish. I made arrangements with GC Tech to fly out and review ALL of their product line in the next month or so. I think filming the reviews right there at GC Tech will make a great statement, and provide a good buzz for the online community. Stay tuned and I'll e getting to it as soon as possible. Thanks for the kind words, and happy ponding!
I want to convert an existing pond, is it necessary to remove the existing plastic pond or can the water reservoir go directly inside the bottom. also is the water level detector that can be installed so you know when to refill?
Thanks so much for posting the video, I like it a lot, but I like to have a bubblier at the top of it to make more interesting,( in my opinion) how much will that kit would cost and how much would it be to ship to central Florida?
Question, I have an incredibly dry, arid although sometimes humid area I live in and I also have to Aussies that prefer fresh water, and also enjoy dipping into fresh, cold water lol. Anyways I’ve always wanted to build an pondless water bowl for them as the mosquitos 🦟 are evil here when water is present anywhere and stagnant, but I’d love to build a pondless waterfall/pool for my two water lovers. The concern I have for a water bowl feature is the slime from my two killing the equipment like the filter etc overtime, and do you offer solar energy options? I hate the idea of hiring an electrician to expand plug ins in my yard and also, I have plenty of sun! The pool idea is the most intimidating project because I’d be digging out a good sized area for my two to swim in or walk through if just a river but with adding electrical elements it’s specifically concerning. The last concern of course is seasons changing! Technically my area is supposed to have all 4, however I go from 20 deg and below winters to suddenly 106 deg summers and of course I don’t want pipes freezing. It’d be great if you could address these concerns and how to prep your equipment for winter 🥶 etc
Good God that's a lot to answer! I'm having dinner and will have to answer that on a video. I'll tag you and shoot it tomorrow. Be sure you're subscribed!
Columbia Water Gardens Yes sir I’ll subscribe and THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!! Never thought you’d read my message but thankful you have! I guess for my Aussies I’d do anything even if that means dig a big hole for a pondless “pond” lmao I guess!
So you guys are in Beaumont California; if I buy a 4X4 could I have it loaded onto my twin axel trailer and haul it to m house in northern Los Angeles? Thank you in advance. Daniel
@@ColumbiaWaterGardens thanks for the quick response. Hayward isn’t terribly far. I had friends there (before they moved to Minnesota). Do they only do drop shipments, or will they load a trailer at that facility?
hey carl nice product i wanted to see if you could do a review on a older product i havent seen any on it so far.The product is gc teks alpha 1 filters i have herd to be compared to the advantage bead filters maybe one in action thanks.KEEP UP the nice work love the videos
Carl - I was just on your website. Which part # is it for the 350 GPH pump that you show in the video? Also, what diameter tubing is it you are using? Thx, Steve
Is the pump is supposed to be In the water? Cause while I was settling it up while the pump was ready inside the fountain. I poured the water I noticed the water was flooding so I immediately took out the pump. Please 🙏🏻 let me know fast. And thank you.
@@ColumbiaWaterGardens he says it's a 350gph pump can you check and see what he's using as it has flow control as well. thanks much. i just need it to be ultra quiet as it's going inside a home.
Fred Diaz if you put a cinder block inside the reservoir, it can hold a great deal. I have one outside my front door that has a fountain that weighs 400#

I love it! it may be a few years old but, I'm motivated now. And it seems like something we can build ourselves and take it down when we move .
Awesome 👌

Glad it was helpful!
This guy knows what he's talking about, you should see my back yard.
