I would love a mini version of this.

ThroatScratch I think it would do well at around a 3”-3.25” blade length and call it a mini or something

I would love an even bigger one of these! Would have to be in Cruwear or something. A knife to rival the Cold Steel XL knives! 😂🙏🏻🙏🏻

Don't need to drown it? What have you done with the Exxon Shabazz we know so well?

The Subvert is at the top of my list of knives to get. The Smock used to be at the top, but I just ordered one! Thanks for the video, Nick!

Mr. Nicholas Shizbizle I’m afraid you have missed the point here. That is not a pocket knife. ‘Tis- a jumbo sized road work caution cone

Thank you for the great content! Your disassembly videos have furthered my love for mid range and high end knives much to the dismay of my wife lol. A benchmade and 2 spydercos within 6 weeks with eyes on a ZT and WE knife soon. Keep up the great work!!

When you’ve done all that, does the famous Taichung fit and finish all fall back in to shape?

I yearn for this knife. I need this knife. I must have it, I must. Don't care that it's bright orange, I could grow to love it probably. Full titanium liners!! That blade, oh God, I must have it.
300 bucks doesn't easily come my way normally though, some economising is gonna have to take place. And who needs food, or rent, or electricity, or any of that stuff, I will have the Subvert!!

Nick, do you release lock bar tension when your checking for blade play or do you leave lock bar tension on when checking blade play? I’ve had a knife a little loose with it released but end up good with lock bar engaged. Just wanting your take on this. Great tear down and review. Hope you know what I mean. I’m not a brilliant man either. Lol. Have a great rest of your day as well. Thanks!

As long as it's secure when locked up, that's all that matters.

Would it KILL Spyderco to put a clip on the other side to make it lefty friendly? Love this knife design, will never buy or carry it.

Spyderco has a ton of designs that are Lefty friendly with 4 position pocket clips. But this one happens to be a custom so lefties are not included...

Nick, love the videos though you might want to shorten up the titles some as they get cut off. Something like "Maintenance Howto: Knife Name"

"Pride before the Lions..." Very nice. I cut myself all the time, but I figure it keeps me honest.

Coincidentally Nick cut himself on something else the other day and then uploaded this video saying he doesnt get cut often 😂😂😂

I really don't see the point here with this knife. Unless you're cutting through the brush of the congo or something, practically as a tool I don't really see this guy outclassing anything. I just thought of this, maybe it can be like a pocket... gardening tool?? Uhh, yeah.
Maybe Spyderco just wanted to make a knife based off a custom knife because people wanted the original custom, so they delivered this? No idea really.
As always, nice review and disassembly jackass

I find this knife blade kind of ugly. Looks like a schlong.
