I read this review of this show that only covered the first episode. Because that is about the attention span of the average American. They said to skip the show because it was too slapsticky. But what I love about Korean romantic comedies is that they are full stories. The first episode is only the introduction. It's what happens throughout the series that makes it special. If you only watch the first episode and skip the rest it's like sitting down to a restaurant meal, eating a few pieces of the complimentary bread and then leaving. Mad For Each Other reminds me a bit of Hello Me. It's very broad in the beginning and you don't quite understand the characters fully. As you move along you fall in love with them more and more. MFEO is a wacky opposites attract love story. Two incomplete characters who end up filling up the holes in each other. She needs him because he can protect her and be loyal to her. (hence all the references to dogs) He needs her because she won't leave him like his previous girlfriend did. As his mom finds out first, she's his water that puts out his fire. (calming his anger) In American shows today we get instant this and instant that. No one has any patience or is willing to wait for anything. But good things come to those who wait. And MFEO is a good thing. It's a good show. Don't skip it, watch it all the way through.
well said. personally, thats what i love about dramas.. they can build up really endearing stories and characters over many episodes, something that movies have a hard time doing because they only have a couple of hours at most.
Totally agree with you. I already attracted to the drama from the synopsis bcoz i always have soft spot for 2nd chance at love storyline. However the 1st 2 episodes do kinda throw me off. There's certain slapstick moments tht i think the director is overdoing it. However the storyline keeps evolving with each episodes and i couldnt help myselp but fall more in love with them. Even the support characters are all nicely acted and blends together well. My only complaints it that this drama is too short. 30mnts per episode n just 13 episodes. I need more 😣😣

This drama is lovely, I already feel drawn to the characters and how they're interacting with each other. Oh Yeon-seo is so amazing and Jung Woo is a great complement to her in this story so far! I caught up all in a day and I'm waiting for next week happily!

@@soniakimeunhae nop Netflix originals can only be found on Netflix. And there isn't much Korean Netflix originals only like 5 or 6. But this year quite a few is releasing and you can see them only on Netflix.

I am LOVING THIS SHOWWW, I hope it gets more attention with time, up until now, I've never found it boring, on the contrary, it's fun and they have good chemistry together, their relationship never feels rushed and it comes together naturally, even tho the episodes are relatively short and the drama on itself is, it's been one of my favorites so far, one of my favorite dramas I've seen
you guys have to watch Reply1994 too if u want to see jung woo acts as an even more absurd character haha. it's great to see his drama again, i've waited for so long

This drama is so underrated in the kdrama world Their chemistry , the way od portraying mental issues, That much humor in a drama , And those emotional scenes Fit perfectly right No words to explain If u need some a lot of humor and chemistry U should try it I have never loved these normal day to day life dramas But this one is an exception

This drama marked the beginning of my summer holiday 2021. Love it! It has a lot of depth under all the light moments. You really don't want to miss. It's an absolute delight🍒

What i love about MFEO is that it isn't cliché and the main leads aren't your generic romcom drama couple. Both leads have unique and different personalities but together they make a cute couple and very good chemistry.
