    EXCELLENT Kevin! Appears that the half hour of silence, and the one hour mentioned in the scriptures simply means a much longer time than our time reckoning but not necessarily 21 years for half of silence and 42 years for the hour mentioned. I do NOT believe that those time references are symbolic; but are simply proportionate to God's timing upon us to fulfill prophecy.

    I love your videos because you are not arrogant and insistent that your interpretations are the only ones or that they are right. You allow that you could be wrong, which is why I am more likely to seek our your stuff. I wonder if you have thought if doing a video on the 7 Jewish feasts and how those have historically coincided with major events (atonement, death, resurrection of christ) and how the fall feasts will also coincide with major events surrounding Christ's second coming? That would be awesome!

      God the Father having a physical body, plus a Heavenly Mother.
      Father, Son, Holy Ghost, being three different entities
      No such thing as a literal brimstone and fiery hell
      Levels of Heaven
      Premortal Existance - aka, we existed before Earth was formed
      Just the ones off the top of my head :)
      But rather than one huge video, I feel like Gospel Lesson's style is more like if he's going to talk about the differences, he would make it one video at time. But that's my opinion based on how his videos have been formatted recently.

    A signal ahead of 'MISSIONARIES being called HOME' is that the fields will stagnate and they will start having trouble to find investigators. This is happening now or very soon. (Doesn't mean there won't be any, but it will drop in numbers). Note that when wars happen people are too stressed out to hardly pay attention to faith unless its planted in their hearts already. Its very hard to teach people that don't know when there next meal is, have extreme stress, problems.

      It's happening in the Gentile nations. Church growth is stagnant or declining among these people's. The Church is really only growing by any meaningful numbers in Central/South America, the Phillipines, and Africa. In the US, the major growth is among immigrant or 2nd generation immigrant populations.

      Elder Gong said in 2020: "May we joyfully accept God’s invitation to receive and help fulfill His promised and prophesied blessings in all nations, kindreds, and tongues, I pray in the sacred and holy name of Jesus Christ, amen."
      That seems to suggest it's yet to be done or ongoing.
      Elder Faust said in April 2006: "The Apostle John saw in vision the time when another angel [would] fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people.” This prophecy has been fulfilled."
      His talk is about the the restoration of the gospel and it seems he may be referring to the fact that the prophecy of the gospel being restored has been fulfilled. The paragraph prior to this quote and the two directly following it are all relating to the gospel being restored, not preached to every nation.
      I would be interested to see what Mr. Prince has to say.

      Yes. Joseph Smith said the seven seals are the seven thousand years temporal history of mankind. He said Chris will return shortly after the opening of the seventh seal, 2000 was roughly the opening of the seventh seal. A member does a timeline on events pertaining to the second coming based on Hebrew days, and holidays, and he has Christ's return between 2036 and 2042. I have a question. You mentioned that 1 day = 1,000 years (2 Peter 3:8), and came up with 1/2 hr. of silence being approx. 21 years. Why wouldn't you use this math: In Dan 9:24-27 a year in the Tribulation is a "day" (1 week = 7 yrs.) , so along the same lines as the subject calculation, why wouldn't you divide 360 days (Jewish year) by 48 "1/2 hours day", = 12 DAYS of silence in the Heavens, instead of 21 yrs.? If you think about it, because of today's technology, the world will know when He comes to the Jews. To think He will make us wait another 21 yrs. for his "2nd Coming" doesn't seem realistic.

    • @JuanJAnimes
      @JuanJAnimes 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      That's a good point. I would just add some food for the thought: The Nephites had a CLEAR signal that Jesus Christ had been born. Even still, the mere fact that He didn't immediately come to them and the years passed by made them start questioning wether it was true or not. Yeah maybe the Jews will try and tell the world about it but for them to believe it is a whole other thing.

    • @NOSPAM-pb4tu
      @NOSPAM-pb4tu 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      No one yet knows what this really means. Additionally, one could also speculate that an hour is a week. This is based on Christ saying to his mother during the wedding of Cana that “his hour is not yet come” and elsewhere in the scripture that talks of his final week as his hour. Thus 1/2 hour would be 1/2 of a week of 3 1/2 years which correlates to Daniel’s numbers (similar to time, times and half a time, or 1/2 the tribulation). I think this will be apparent either when it happens or when we are warned by our prophet.

    • @NOSPAM-pb4tu
      @NOSPAM-pb4tu 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Mistyped comment above. 1/2 of a week or 3 1/2 days. 3 1/2 seems to be a repeated pattern of time, times and half a time and also correlates to 1/2 of the tribulation.

    • @battheman777

      you are also assuming that all the technology will be usable. Don't forget all the devastation that will be happening: the great scourge, great famine, great hailstorm, great earthquake, Armageddon. I could see a scenario where technology as we know it isn't working and we won't just be able to turn on the news and see the news chopper showing Jesus standing on the mount of olives.

  • @LarenRichardson
    @LarenRichardson 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

    You indicate that the gospel must be preached throughout the world prior to Christ's appearance on the mount of olives. D&C 45:54 says "And then shall the heathen nations be redeemed, and they that knew no law shall have part in the first resurrection; and it shall be tolerable for them." This happens after the Jews become converted. I have always interpreted this as many of the Muslim nations becoming converted because of what happens at Armageddon. Just some thoughts.

    Where does this “seven-year” concept come from anyway? It may shock you, but if you look for “seven years of tribulation” in any concordance, you won’t find it. The truth is, from Genesis to Revelation, there is no exact passage that specifically mentions a seven-year period of tribulation at all. Amazingly, the entire theory is really based on a rather speculative interpretation of two little words in one single verse. The text is Daniel 9:27; and the two words are, “one week.” Let's go
    1. The entire prophecy of Daniel 9:24-27 covers a period of “seventy weeks.” This period applies to one complete, sequential block of time. This prophecy would start during the Persian period and would end during the time of the Messiah.
    2. Logic requires that the 70th week follow immediately after the 69th week. If it does not, then it cannot properly be called the 70th week!
    3. It is illogical to insert a 2,000-year gap between the 69th and the 70th week. No hint of this gap is found in the prophecy itself. There is no gap between the first 7 weeks and the following 62 weeks. Why insert one between the 69th and the 70th week?
    4. Daniel 9:27 says nothing about a seven-year period of tribulation, or about any Antichrist
    5. The focus of this prophecy is the Messiah, not the Antichrist. Modern interpreters have applied “the people of the prince” who would come to “destroy the city and the sanctuary” (verse 26) to the Antichrist. Yet the text does not say this. In the past, that sentence has been applied to the Romans, who under Prince Titus did “destroy the city and the sanctuary” in'‘A.D. 70
    6. “He shall confirm the covenant.” Jesus Christ came “to confirm the promises made unto the fathers.” Romans 15:8. Nowhere in the Bible is Antichrist ever said to make or confirm a covenant with anyone! The word “covenant” always applies to the Messiah, never to the Antichrist!
    7. “He shall confirm the covenant with many.” Jesus said, “This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.” Matthew 26:28. Jesus used the same words, because He knew that He was fulfilling Daniel 9:27!
    8. “In the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease.” The 70th week was from A.D. 27 to 34. After three and a half years of ministry, Christ died in A.D. 31, “in the midst [middle] of the week.” At the moment of His death, “the veil of the temple was rent [torn] in twain from the top to the bottom.” Matthew 27. The Great Sacrifice had been offered!
    9. “For the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate.” Jesus plainly applied this “abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet” (Matthew 24:15) to the time when His followers were to flee from Jerusalem before the destruction of the second temple in A.D. 70. Jesus told His 12 disciples, “When ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies [the Roman armies led by Prince Titus], then know that its desolation is near.” Luke 21:20, emphasis added. Those disciples did “see” those very events. Christ’s very last words to the Pharisees from inside the second temple were, “Behold, (Your house is left unto you desolate.” Matthew 23:38. Thus Daniel’s prophecy about Jerusalem becoming “desolate” was exactly fulfilled in A.D. 70! Jesus understood this perfectly.
    10. Gabriel said that the 70'week prophecy specifically applied to the Jewish people (see Daniel 9:24). During the period of Christ’s public ministry of 3 1/2 years, the Master’s focus was largely upon “the lost sheep of the house of Israel” (Matthew 10:6). After His resurrection and then for another 3 1/2 years, His disciples preached mostly to Jews (see Acts 1-6). After that second 3 1/2-year period, in 34 A.D., the bold Stephen was stoned by the Jewish Sanhedrin (see Acts 7). This infamous deed marked the then-ruling Jewish leaders’ final, official rejection of the gospel of our Savior. Then the gospel went to the Gentiles. In Acts 9, Saul became Paul, the “apostle to the Gentiles” (Romans 11:13). In Acts 10, God gave Peter a vision revealing it was now time to preach to the Gentiles(see Acts l0:1-28). Read also Acts (l3:46) Thus approximately 3 1/2 years after the crucifixion-and at the end of the 70-week prophecy given for the Jewish people-the gospel shifted to the Gentiles exactly as predicted in Bible prophecy.
    The seventy weeks of Daniel therefore, have certainly ended many centuries ago. We are not to look to the future for the fulfillment of these predictions. We must look to the past. And if to the past; where is there one who can have any adequate claims to being the subject of these prophecies, but Jesus? He, and he only can claim them; and to him they most certainly refer.
    one would think, the people [the Jews] among whom [these events] occurred, could not possibly have misapplied the prophecy. “But they did. In fact, one major reason why the Jewish nation as a whole failed to receive its Messiah was because its scholars misintetpreted Daniel (9:27.) They failed to see Jesus Christ as the predicted One who would die in the midst of the 70th week! Amazingly, the exact same thing is happening today. Sincere Christian scholars are now misapplying the very same prophecy. The entire “seven-year period of tribulation” theory is an end time delusion, a massive mega-myth. It may even go down in history as the “greatest evangelical misinterpretation of all time.” The whole concept is like a gigantic bubble. Once Daniel 9:27 is correctly understood and the sharply-pointed pin of truth is inserted, “Pop goes the seven years!” It’s a fact: There is no text in the Bible which teaches a “seven-year tribulation.” If you hunt for it, you’ll end up like Ponce de Leo searching for the mystical Fountain of Youth, but never finding it.

      Sister Wendy Nelson said the following in 2016 at a worldwide devotional: "So, now a question as I conclude: What if you learned that the Savior had already returned to this earth-that He, as part of His Second Coming, had already met with some of His true followers in several marvelous, large gatherings-gatherings about which the world, including CNN and the blogosphere, knew nothing. If you found out that the Savior was already on the earth, what would you desperately want to do today, and what would you be willing and ready to do tomorrow?"

    I just don’t see how every country will hear of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. Things are getting worse in the world. Not better.

      Mosiah 4:9 "Believe in God; believe that he is, and that he created all things, both in heaven and in earth; believe that he has all wisdom, and all power, both in heaven and in earth; believe that man doth not comprehend all the things which the Lord can comprehend."

    The great earthquake occurs in the 6th seal, likely near the end of the first 3.5 year period of the tribulation. The events described in Revelation 8 & 9 occur in the beginning of the 7th seal as it describes in D&C 77 verses 12-13. Also, according to several scriptures, the Jews and the House of Israel are not gathered back to the lands of their inheritance until after they believe in Christ as it states in 2nd Nephi 10:7-9. The kings and queens of the gentiles are the righteous remnant who believe the marred servant who brings forth the words of Christ. Most members of the church will reject this individual and will be cut off from the covenant and be trodden under foot of the remnant of Jacob. This is the Lords great and marvelous work which causes a massive division in the church and the world as it states in 1st Nephi 14:7.
    Then after this division the mother of abominations gathers up multitudes against those who believe this servant and are protected by the power of God. As those who fight against this righteous remnant they will begin to war among themselves initiating the great tribulation as nation rises against nation among the gentiles. Nephi isn't able to write more because it was given to John to write the rest and this is where the little horn/King of Assyria/Beast and false prophet arise to destroy and enslave the world for 3.5 years as the righteous remnant escapes this judgment upon the world.
    The beast or little horn is destroyed after the first 3.5 year period as judgment is decreed upon him to be removed from power at Adam-Ohndi-Ahman. After this nation and the world has been greatly depopulated under the Antichrist rule of terror, Zion is established, built up, and the Lord's covenant people inherit the desolate cities and houses of the gentiles and they will greatly outnumber the current population of the church. Once Zion is established, the Lord and the 144,000 high priests under the commission of John the Revelator and other angels will begin gathering all those who will come to Zion and the church of the first born. The two witnesses begin their ministry in Jerusalem at this time as well. Then as it states from my house shall it begin (under the antichrist's depopulation and enslavement of the world and particularly America, from my house shall it go forth. And the world wide plagues and destructions mentioned in Revelation 8 & 9 occur.
    The 144,000 are sealed up and protected from these disasters as they gather out the righteous to Zion who will be the only people not at war with one another. It will be a place of refuge and safety from these destructions. Proof that the Antichrist and false prophet are destroyed at the midpoint is because the evil spirits that possessed them will come out of them and deceive the Kings of the east to bring war to Jerusalem. Both the beast and the false prophet are cast into perdition. They are individuals as it states in 2nd Nephi 25 that a false messiah would arise and attempt to deceive the Jews.

    Daniel 7:25-26, Saints are put into the hand of the antichrist for about 3 ½ years. Who would give Saints to the antichrist half way through the 7 years? No one! Are the first 3½ years the time-line?
    What is day 1,335 in Daniel 12:12? Ask any Post trib teacher and they will say "I don't know. I was taught 7 years". Day 1,335 is the day if the Lord.
    The fig tree parable is not about the generation that sees Isreal reborn. Now 76 years, a generation is not that long. The parable is about summer that comes after you see a bud on a fig tree or any tree.
    When you see sacrifices in Isreal stopped at the abomination of desolation, we rise with the two witnesses on the day Jesus returns just 6 weeks later.

    Lovers of truth and lovers of Humanity are having an easier time than the rest.
    You can check your moral compass by asking where you stand on the genocide that Israel is committing in Gaza.
    By the power of the Holy Ghost you shall the truth of all things.
