The kids say "Dark Souls this, Dark Souls that." The veteran gamers say "Battletoads this, Ghosts and Goblins that."
Never played Ghosts and Goblins before but goddamn Battletoads was a complete nightmare for me as a kid.
@@DarkNexus530 Oh yeah, those damm tunnels! I played Battletoads in Battlemaniacs on SNES back in the day and it pissed me off to no end. The challenge is sickeningly addictive. Same with Contra Hard Corps.
And then are the japanese with touhou

Huge fan of Super Ghouls n Ghosts on SNES growing up. This looks amazing. Have to wait for the PC port however. Don't own a Switch.
Fun fact: that game has a co-op mode where the second player is a gardian angel and it was the only way for us to pass one level.. too hard otherwise (we're playing the normal mode I guess). How great is that game, really.

Learn the game first, come back when you're ready to beat it on Legend. I don't see what the problem is.

It begins with one of the most shocking intros in video game history: A couple just got done having sex. I'm not even kidding. What else does it look like? He's not wearing clothes. Next thing, Satan shows up as if saying: "Yeah, I wanna get in on some of that," and takes her away.
Don't know why you have to run cheats on it. Whats the point?
It's good overall, but a bit dry in terms of visuals and music. This game deserved better animations and a bolder, wackier yet still sinister tone. This ended up being too lighthearted.

Hi, super nice walkthoruh but how do you get to start where you died ? we always had to start at banner ?
This new game has 4 difficulty levels. He is playing on the easiest one, the other 3 levels have checkpoints (like the originals).

Sorry, thIs is NOT a full walkthrough. You have to finish the game two times (as in the originals) to see the real/true ending. Secondly, this is the easiest of 4 different levels. The other 3 have checkpoints, not instant respawns!

He had it set to the easiest difficulty. On the hardest, it will send you back to the checkpoints if you die, like in the original

At around 7 minutes you actually killed yourself and tried to cheese your way up. Its hilarious. The fails in this longplay are real tho
I normally called everybody a 🐱 for not playing on the most difficult level on video games but I remember when I was young this game used to kick my butt and I never played it again plus I was at a neighbor kid house playing this so that another reason why I also never played this game again

El que juega el ghouls n ghosts resurrección ese plan es una mala idea, yo no acercaría demaciado mi personaje a un jefe enorme como Astaroth.
holy shit i though i died alot in the original and its sequel, this thing looks ninja gaiden eagles level hard- on th efirst level.

This hard? It has infinite instant respawns so the checkpoints are useless. Oh and it takes 4 hits to kill you where the old one was 2 hit deaths. 🤨
@@maggs131 It's the easiest mode though. Harder modes make this look like a joke...
But the old one is brutal.
3:03 lol can count on your projectiles not going through the tombstones that zombies and 4:50 their projectiles can go through to kill ya, like death and taxes. I'll stick with switch online super ghouls n ghosts with rewind and save states and not get killed by tombstone 4:57 lol you definitely are determined.
Compared to the difficulty setting the uploader is playing, playing with save states is a challenge.
@@pantheman2842 yeah lol even 2 player it's rough. But the deaths are funny. Did upload a quick vid of me surviving. Glad it went on sale and yes this makes save states look impossible.
