- Princess Charlotte and Princess Beatrice showed off their adorable, close bond at Prince Philip's memorial service. The 6-year-old and her 8-year-old brother, Prince George, accompanied parents Prince William and Kate Middleton on Tuesday to pay tribute to their late great-grandfather. Charlotte charmed with her good behavior, but at one point, cameras caught a cute moment of her smile at her older cousin, Beatrice, and the princess immediately flashed her a big pearly white smile back!

Charlotte is getting prettier as she grows older, too bad her grandmother wasn't able to see her. I bet Diana would have been very happy seeing her grandchildren.

I was very happy to see both William and Kate look after their children, holding their hands and guiding them through this state occassion talking to them making sure they were secure. They are doing a wonderful job by how they are teaching the children how to cope having been born into the Royal family.
I went to Kashmir once where my parents got busy having fun on their own, so i felt really alone and I learnt to always look after my children from that incident. This comment reminded me of that

Totally agree. It was a celebration for the life of a great man, his funeral was the solemn ceremony last year. It was correct to smile. He was probably smiling back, with a cheeky wink, as he often did.

@Laura Nasewytewa utter rubbish. The memorial was celebrating her great grandpas life which had been rich, productive, long and very happy. This was NOT his funeral. The children did not attend that. Celebrations are just that. Happy memories. Stop criticising a little girl. I bet grandpa was smiling back at her. 👌🇬🇧

It was a Service of THANKSGIVING for Prince Philip, NOT a Memorial. It was completely appropriate that people would smile as they remembered and celebrated his life!

Princess Beatrice is a kind young lady who appears to represent her family beautifully. Her manners are lovely. I always enjoy watching her around the little Princess Charlotte as their seems to be a true warm connection. Edo is a great addition to the Royal Family. As a Royal himself, he too, has beautiful manners and displays great Royal etiquette. I've watched him and he's always on point at any event. Love this couple. 🇺🇸💕🇬🇧🌹
I agree, everybody who has ever met Princess Beatrice says she has impeccable manners and is lovely, warm and friendly. She is a wonderful asset to the Royal family, I'm not surprised the Queen adores her.

Eugenie is very different from her sister. She is the "royal mole" feeding information to Hasnobrains so they can anticipate ways to left step other RF esp his brother and family. Dont forget she and her husband stayed with H and M in Montecito earlier this year, were "caught" on camera out having a meal. Now I wonder, is she the only family member who has actually seen the "children"? Because no one else has as far as we know. Even the so called birthday party did not exist, and Palace have denied that HMTQ met her namesake. No children on the manifest of the flights, and crew denied any children on board. Hmmm something not right.

I think Charlotte will be the next Princess Royal hopefully not for a long time yet as our Princess Anne is doing a great job. Well known as the hardest working Royal, and her father always said she should have been a prince. I remember when she was showjumping and swearing like a sailor (like her father), when photographers were flashing cameras in her mounts eyes. "Naff off" was her "polite" swear word. But there were beautiful photographs of her as well, she could have been a model. My favourite royal. 👏👑

I love watching videos of Beatrice and Eugenie when they were little. They are just adorable. There is a video with The Queen at Balmoral going horse riding. Eugenie steps on the queens foot. One of them brags on their boots. The skiing video with William and Harry is beyond adorable too. Their sweet little smiles. Who can forget at Trooping messing around on the balcony with Prince Harry. Love it

We are about 6 years away from George, Charlotte and Louis being the Royal stars...just like Harry and William were when they were teenagers. I hope their privacy and childhood continues to be cherished and protected until then.
