- On March 24, days before BTS's GRAMMY performance of "Butter," HYBE announced that Hobi was diagnosed with COVID-19. Meaning, the rest of the boys had to practice without their dance leader and it was pure chaos.

Jimin's appreciation for Hobi touches my heart. He's obviously one of the most talented and skilled dancers in the world, but still looks to Hobi for guidance and reassurance. Each member is a genius in his own special way and Hobi is the genius dance leader who has helped BTS become legends!
I totally agree with Jimin.
I loved the clear difference between before and after Hobi joined the practice. Before they were like lost puppies, totally chaotic and not knowing what to do and after Hobi joined and led them, everything fall onto place within a few hours. It provided how much Hobi is important for the group.
Aww BTS and armies will always need hobi, no doubt about that 💜.

Yeah, that's so right. The whole practice session felt like something major was missing. His absence was so thick, without his pam pam everything looked chaos
The members know how much they need Hobi's guidance, even if some solo stans downplay his role, dancing ability and talent 💜
It must have been so tough for them without Hobi. He really is the glue that holds everything together. But seeing those behind the scenes videos really makes you see how much hard work they put into everything. They always give it 110% no matter what 💜

Our beloved J-Hope he our leader that's lead them to practice thier choreography he the one holds the group together, he very intelligent and unique. I know BTS work very hard for their performance it not easy.

I already knew Jhope was a great dancer... but I SEE that he's also a great leader. BTS is great, but Jhope perfected BTS.
So again we see the versatility of our dear Hobi .. they said it themselves, they miss his guidance when he is not there and what is amazing is, for that performance of butter Hobi and Jungkook had only 1 day to get it together with the others and boy oh boy it was magnificent, even with Hobi's little stumble they pulled it of like the pros they are .. glad to see how much they depend on him for stability though .. the one and only Jung Ho Seok aka Jhope, aka Hobi, aka our sunshine .. we can't do without him 🥰🥰🥰🥰👍👍👍👍💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 thanks Colt, loved the video 👍👍🥰🥰

Hobi is a FANTASTIC teacher. What impressed me the most is how he made Jin an incredible dancer. Jin practiced so hard but he needed instruction. When they all perform together it's seamless and synchronized. They hit their marks and the angles look great. Subtleties like hand movements , keeping up their energy, facial expressions, feet placement, posture- Hobi sees all that. Im sure he knows what their bodies can handle also and where to place members for what part. In the end you have beautiful choreography and excellent dancers in a electrifying performance.
Hobi! You are the foundation of BTS performances. I do think Jiminie tried to step up & did help. He didn’t want to let Hobi down. Thx, Colt!!!

The reason they were lost is there were no "bop bop bop" to help them keep track. Hobi always keep count by say bop bop bop. 😄

RM was spot on before their debut when he told the BigHit staff and BTS members that “BTS will not make it without Jung Hoseok”. RM knew it would have an impact on the groups level of success if J-Hope didn’t stay. I’m so happy that they were able to convince Hobi not to leave them. 💜

For real, Hoba makes the routines a lot easier to learn for the members especially for Jin and Namjoon as both admitted before that it usually takes the two of them to learn the whole dance for 3 days.
