Here is a 4K (UHD) tour of Los Angeles International Airport. I visit Terminals 4 through 8, and also get footage of a number of widebodies. While the content is very similar to my first LAX tour (in 7/2014), I find the resolution that 4K provides to be stunning, so I decided to do the tour over again! If you can watch in 2160p, make sure to do so. And if you can't . . . hey, 4K monitors and TVs are getting cheaper and cheaper! (Special thanks to my dad for filming the ride to the AA satellite terminal and the terminal itself in HD.)

1. Typo when I was introducing Terminal 6; it's used by AS (Alaska), not AL!
2. The Air Tahiti Nui A343's registration is F-OLOV, which is just barely evident in the clip with the B77F, registration B-2079. FOLOV arrived from PPT and would return to PPT.

Hello I am an airplane/airport enthusiast and have seen many many YOU TUBE videos. I must admit I enjoyed yours more than any other. I'm not talking about any of your techniques but your shots are just wow! I am the person who goes to the airport just to check out the airport just as you showed in your video. When I was kid, my fantasy job was to be in charge of LAX! It used to be my #1 favorite airport and probably still is but FRA is trying to take over my #1 position. I'm in Palm Springs. Keep up your efforts as they are ootw(out of this world)!

great video if I was in Los Angeles of course I would do the same video tour around the airport it must be the busiest airport in USA.
Man if this is busier than JFK and/or MIA then I am not exited about connecting or flying over there then, I'd chose SNA or SAN. There's even SMF and if there's no alternative then LGB I guess will do. Although from this footage doesn't look as chaotic as those airports I mentioned earlier.
This video is too random, I would of appreciated a more organized tour of the airport.

really enjoy these airport tours you do. Have watched DFW, IAH, ATL, JFK and AUS in addition to this LAX vid. I flew on N767AJ (AA 777) back in 2006 between DFW and FRA when she was brand new. The interior didn't suggest that though. It was almost like AA took old seat interiors from retired aircraft and put them in new aircraft to save money.

Since this video was made Delta and it's codeshare partners (Aeromexico, Virgin Atlantic and Westjet) have moved to terminal 2. Hawaiian, Jet Blue, Spirit, and some excess AA are in terminal 5.
the takes are too short, stuff in my eyes
This is a common criticism of my videos ;) I prefer more short takes versus fewer long takes; it gives you more variety. But it's all a matter of personal preference. I like your toy sound videos, they bring back memories from when I was a kid in the 90s!
Oh maaaaan that's a busy airport and too much lines !!!! can someone use a ''Penny Board'' to get around ?? so which is the less busy airports in U.S?

Coming out of the Domestic Terminal and trying to catch a connection flight the only indication on the Arr/Dept board was TBIT. There was no indication of which platform you should look for your next flight. After finding the way to TBIT there was another hurdle that it was not easy to find an indication board for the boarding time and platform. The concourse is so huge that you can lose your way and time. I am sure that the management can improve on the signage system.

Just don't try to contact lost and found in airports. We had to come up with an app because of our experience :)

It depends on when I travel there next--and no plans to visit NY again at the moment, though it's a great city to travel to.
When you arrive at the gate, are you supposed to check in with the attendants at the desk or just when you're going to board? Flying for the first time in August and I have no clue
You don't need to check in with them beforehand. Just get in the line to board and give them your ticket, and you're on the plane :) But make sure you know how to go through security and all that. Enjoy!

Love this video! I actually have a physical disbility and I'm going to have to use a wheelchair. How easily is it for a person with a disability to go through LAX? This is a stupid question but I kinda want to know.. just to slowly ease my panic level.. xD
That's not a stupid question at all! I'm quite sure that LAX is ADA compliant. I know a lot of airports also provide wheelchairs for individuals. The LAX website should have more info. Safe travels! :)

I think the new TBIT is probably the nicest international terminal in the US. I've only traveled internationally through LAX, SFO, DEN, DFW, IAH, ORD, ATL, & JFK but it easily beats all of those.
Do you have any videos that show Terminals 1-3?
Unless I'm mistaken T1-T3 aren't connected airside so you'd have to pass in and out of security three separate times and might even require separate same day tickets to make it happen. Doesn't seem worth it for a simple TH-cam channel.

Did you know that the LAX-MCO route is referred to as the DISNEYLAND-WALT DISNEY WORLD route as DISNEY EXECUTIVES, EMPLOYEES, and FANS take that route. Airlines that fly the LAX-MCO route nonstop are ALASKA (Operated by VIRGIN AMERICA), AMERICAN, DELTA, FRONTIER, JETBLUE, and UNITED.
Where was your tripod?
My longest airport tours involve hundreds of short clips, so setting up a tripod for each one would make the process ten times longer. The camera's optical stabilization helps. Thanks for watching!
