I really appreciate your music,Your right about the different styles of electronic music,I been A DJ since I was 15 (well that's when my brother in law decided to give me his pair of black Gemini's.He was a editor for yahóo in the early 90's when San Diego electronic music scene just started to kickoff ,with raves ,clubs ,illegal gatherings like breaking into warehouse, empty mansions ,certain beaches,I DJ'd on top of a bus under the free way,and on a private plane landing strip..thank goodness they're were 2 landing strips,we had a hard time getting the equipment up the hill to set up the equipment,the guy who owned the land had like 5 pitbulls with him when he came up to tell us to leave because he had a flight coming in , eventually we payed him to use the strip we were on,and he took the money with was about 7000 dollars,and he went back to his house and locked his dogs up and told who was landing to use the other strip,we were 2 hours into the party by then.The reason why I started learning about electronic music was because my sister was 8 years older than me and I had a girl friend who had one of the few stores that sold Raver gear like clothes ,Stoopid clothing,Tribal gear, ecstasy bomb ,and vintage clothes , people used to wear crazy cool outfits ,and she sold underground records,and some CD's and equipment,anyway I was in 8th grade and my school was on park ave , right next to the zóo, Roosevelt Jr High,and I live just two blocks away and so I started hanging out there and we became good friends until we fell in love,she was married too,I worked for the guy, his name was Brian he owned a silk screening warehouse whare that's were we made the clothes for alot of people coming out with new ideas to wear to party's,fat,gat,I listed some of them already,.Brian wasn't that mad at me ,I thought he was going to try to lick my but ,he was more worried how she was going to break my heart because of how young I was she was 21 and I was 15 ,her and my sister got me into clubs and venues I wasn't even allowed to DJ at let alone be in there ,they were both stripers ,not for all the places but they were both really beautiful girls,.My brother also gave me a job working at Yahoo doing write ups on promotions musicians would send and we would write them ,like describe them what kind of beats were there real keyboards or pianos and stuff like that we would usually say they were good if you liked that type of music,unless they were just down write terrible,so that's how became a DJ I'm 47 now My DJ name is Slipmatt,it might be under my name Matthew arena or matt arena I forgot I'm just about to start a play list ,I tried to get rid of the ones before but it still kept the name of the play list and not the songs ,but I think of you go to one of them they would have all the playlist and songs hope you check them out ,you can always write be back of you want byby
