I seriously thought there was something wrong with me because of how intense this song makes me feel, all the emotions it evokes. I’m the only person I know of that knows of this song. I come here and read these comments and see there are so many others who have been affected by this song the same way I have. YOU ARE MY PEOPLE!! Makes me so happy.

Listened to this for the first time as my plane was taking off toward home a few weeks ago. During takeoff the song started up and just as we started to speed up and take off, the beat kicked in. Sitting next to the widow with the song going off in my ears was truly wonderful. One of those songs that brings a good memory

As a man just said here in the comments, you don't find this song, this song finds you when the time is right. Boy, do I relate to that... When I first heard Aura, I loved it, and I don't even remember how it found me haha, but I do remember it was in one of the lowest points of my life, back on 2021 in the middle of the pandemic, after a really bad breakup, dealing with an dirty additcion, unemployed and having college classes online with a huge project to finish by myself. I mean, some people have it worse, but to me that was rock bottom. And then, I chose to fight, and I like to think that I did my best, but I was never alone, music was with me, specially Aura, which came to be my most listened song of 2021 according to Spotify (and the million times I played this on TH-cam too). In all those all nighters I've pulled studying, in those bike runs I did to get in shape, in all those gaming sessions that I had just for fun and specially in the times I just needed something to pick me up as I tripped, Aura was there. I could say I have no words to describe how much this song means to me, but I think I just did haha

I kinda dig this type of buildup with thin sound, little low end, a lowly defined hat, a ping-pong smack, a thin, almost clicky kick drum, a simple pad, then a pluck bathed in reverb -- then in comes vocals and a bassline. Take away kick drum. Then feed it back in with lots of oomph, and make the bassline fatter. It should have a name. That sequence is so fucking seductive. I also love that he creates pick-ups with clap breaks. And then comes that little brassy detail with low attack on the filters and high env. Another break, dreamy vocals - rinse repeat, fucking home run, have the entire building in a motherfucking trance.
