Good video thanks for taking us along maybe next time we could have more light in the mines kind of hard to see. Added a like too. Cheers.

I found this entrance before and walked as far as the barrel before turning around. I was on my own. I will have to come back with a crew!

You did an amazing job on this video. Thank you. It’s too bad you couldn’t get to the 2nd adit. You would have found that it is no prospect. It was a mine. There is a huge stope in there.
That raise in the lower adit, corkscrews up to a small round room. From there a vertical raise shoot straight up toward the second adit and was intended to be an ore pass from the upper two adits to the lower one for transport out to the bunker. The guy that bored that vertical raise must have been a little squirt because that raise can’t be more than 30 inches wide and according to the map extends probably 75 feet up.
It is hard to believe they would gate the Honeymoon prospect. It is completely safe and with a good light you can see the end from the gate.
One piece of advice if I may. If you plan to do more mines, and I hope you do, I suggest better lighting. Not only for the video’s sake, but mainly for safety. There are dangers in some of those mines that aren’t really apparent without good light.

I remember clearly when my daughter’s young friend (back in the late 1970s) lost her dog down a hole in one of those tunnels and despite everyone's efforts he died, slowly, barking less and less as time went on. It was heartbreaking. Also, it could have been my daughter’s friend. Mine exploration truly takes expertise and training.

Very true. I always have detailed maps of the interior of the site, as well as do rock stability tests, air quality testing etc. Very easy for things to go wrong
