While the optimizations in this video are great, I've discovered even more ways to dramatically boost FPS in Marvel Rivals. I've made an updated video about it, which you can check out here: th-cam.com/video/85oUSFw9hnQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=nlyHpFKGjDxlH_Tl After applying the optimizations in this video, I reached nearly 190 FPS in the range and averaged around 90-130 FPS in real games. With the new video's optimizations, I'm now hitting close to 250 FPS in the range and averaging about 165 FPS in real games.

Hey! After reading this comment I can attest that both works. Engine.ini and GameUserSettings, I asked some of my friends too to try it out. 2 of them got more perf boost by a couple of fps but the other 10+ people didn't notice any difference. Maybe there are a few settings that just works on Engine.ini? Anyway I saw a post on the subreddit to that engine.ini is kind of like an overlay to the gameusersettings, by technicality if you actually insert the Engine.ini text on gameusersettings.ini it should still work.
@@UnfilteredBits putting in gamer user settings didnt work for me, i put it in engine ini and now suddenly i hvae no shadows but 40fps more. if you have no shadows after the copy paste thne it worked.
After further testing, I decided to delete both GameUserSettings.ini and Engine.ini, then verified my Marvel Rivals installation before following your suggestion. After pasting everything into Engine.ini, I got a lot more FPS with lower textures and no shadows. Now I stand corrected. Thank you very much. Will also make an updated video with more optimization :D
after doing the ini files you mentioned, i can't change any setting does that include the champions abilities key bottons? or just game video settings?
its because read only option i think. make sure you uncheck it adjust your in game settings and after all your in game settings are ready do the ini file changes and choose read only. Read only makes it so every time you launch the game your config is applied and doesnt get changed
Hey! I have 300 in marvel rivals but when im teamfighting tis just drops down so much. My fps spikes are just crazy it happend to me after installing the latest nvidia driver, do u have any ideas what can be the reason of my spikes?
Its always better to keep FPS stable. It removes ghosting (or at least helps) Dont play on forced TAA/TAAU that also helps with ghosting. So limit your FPS.
for high-end machines it'll prolly be DLSS (RTX 3070/4070 ++) but my friends that has 1650 - 2060, they told me that TAAU gives more stable fps + lower latency.
This highly depends on your CPU, forgot to mention in the video. If you are cpu limited turn it off to reduce stutters, but if you have some cpu headroom turn it on. (and yes CPU not GPU although it's a gpu setting mainly it is directly affected by how much can your CPU process)

Thank you bro I appreciate you
for the reddit post didnt he say to put it into an engine.ini file not the gameusersettings?
Yes he did it all wrong

@@UnfilteredBits nice glad it worked
my pc doesn't have the marvel folder for some reason
make sure when u go to the AppData file u go to Local file next and not Roaming
The second reddit comment about mouse input has been removed from the post :/
Nevermind just saw your comment with the Engine.ini stuff, thanks!
did not think this game would be that spec demanding but it is lol
UE5 engine just sucks, a lot of features + cool graphics but the amount of unnecessary processing is just aaaaaaaaaaa
good shit bro

im getting 30 fps stable with these settings while before it would max at 70 but never stable
give my new tutorial a shot, would definitely get you around that 70 back but more stable.

this just forced my game into high settings and i cant change untill i revert these changes it because its read only lmao

Another help if u can...my vc is not working even after turning off I cat talk not they can listen I turned on vs fixed volume everything is it a bug
Is this bannable since we are kinda messing with the game files?
not at all! also uploading an updated version of this which can give you more fps
will these get me banned?
no
what about 8gb ram 1050 gtx, i5 8th gen
You can give it a try maybe 40-60fps stable.
@UnfilteredBits yea tried it gameplay 30-50 fps, when people are ulting drops to 15-20 fps
It's time for a upgrade
Forced TAA
Bad.
Forced ghosting? lol.
The 1660 is still trucking on
my friends are also using that exact GPU!
but i like mouse accelration
if you like mouse accel just remove the "bDisableMouseAcceleration=true" on the engine.INI file
