If I was in the Owner's Suite, I might forget the expedition and stay in my room. Great tour video (like you could do a bad one).
It was incredibly difficult to film this ship tour when all we wanted to do was stay in the suite and chill on that balcony. It's a tough job sometimes lol! :D
I am going on the ship in August. I've been trying to find sample menus. I like that you showed the menu in your video.

That lounge is unbelievable, so unique and tranquil! If I didn't need some daylight for my mental and physical health, I'd probably live in it. Such an elegant ship, and that suite is perfection. What a view from the bed, and that balcony! The entry-level stateroom is more luxurious than most cruise lines' better balcony rooms, particularly with that spacious shower. Ponant doesn't get many mentions from Travel Advisors here in the US, so this was a very welcome and beautiful overview that I'm unlikely to get from any US-based "vlogger". Lovely as always, thank you!
Thanks Amy. I don't know why Ponant isn't more widely promoted in the US. It should be as the ships are little pockets of luxury with a French twist. They are so lovely and that's not even considering the French cuisine!

i have been working with Le Bellot when she is in harbor for the past month and i have never thought about how jaw dropping the interior was until this popped up in my recommendations

I've been enjoying your video reviews of Le Bellot and her sister ship, as we are booked on a Le Bellot Iceland cruise this summer. It's great to get a feel for the ship before we get there.
But one little quibble. Your review of the deck 3 stateroom seems to actually show one from deck 4 or 5. From what I've seen, the balconies on deck 3 don't have the glass below the railing, but are solid. But otherwise the rooms are the same.
This was a stateroom on deck 3 though we can’t remember which one. Maybe check with a travel advisor before booking if you want to make sure you have a fully glass balcony.

Haha! Yes, we were having a bit of a laugh about what horrors would've floated past you in the Thames ranging from the bodies of local hoodlums to the remains of last nights curry (if you know what I mean)! 😂

Hi Rich and Helen. Imagine being in that Blue Lounge in Antarctica !! Now that would be amazing. I say that because (Gone Venturing) Viktor worked there for a few seasons and there is an actual hole drilled down below the ice with an observation room attached (At McMurdo Station). You climb down, into said hole and see and hear everything below the ice. You are the best at this travel craft. No matter the ship you are on, it is an adventure and not a chore to be done like housework !!
Aww cheers Jeremy. I can only imagine what the Blue Eye lounge is like in the Antarctic or the Maldives with the underwater lights on and the microphones turned up to 11...
I will say again that I will never see and experience what you show and what you do, but wait I do, thru the both of you. I travel the world, I eat lovely food and indulge in activities I would not be able to do. I again thank you for allowing me to travel with you both. Great video! We were on board doing the same mini-cruise! I was the one holding up the stick with the 360 camera at 11:11 - sailing under the open Tower Bridge was such an unforgettable experience. I also made a video about this cruise.

@@visitwithus thanks. We are doing Antarctica with Ponant the coming Christmas, so your channel is very interesting as you've done Antarctica already. I don't think Ponant offers Polar plunge unfortunately.

Well of all the obscure things we sometimes pack, we've not yet ever packed our own bidet. Perhaps it's time we did. 😂

Is the underwater area for higher tier room guests or is this a public area for all passengers?
No it’s a public area bar for all guests. Think it only opens for a limited time in the evening but anyone can go there. We are sailing in the Caribbean on one of Ponant’s ships in December so watch out for our videos from that trip where we’ll hopefully get some more interesting footage from this bar 👍

I don't think there would be many, if any on an average trip.
