- Big Tex is the official greeter and icon of the State Fair of Texas. He towers 55 feet into the air and is dressed in Dickies attire while his boots are yearly switched out by a different designer. He is an attraction of the park that can't be missed.

Ok so I grew up in Dallas right? So Big Tex was a constant in my life. I recently moved to California and learned that my new friends know nothing of this magical man. So I show them this video. I am now shocked and confused that they find this man quote "creepy" and "scary". I will now show them a video of him on fire. They want freaky, I'll show them freaky. 😈

@@Skullgirlad yes, he pivots on his waist and moves his arms up and down. One of his hands also pivots as well as his head. He can't bend over or move anything below the waist though.

His eyes roam too. I walked right past him. Maybe it was me he was watching. He used to call to people in the crowd. Don't know if he still does. I haven't been since 2015.
