Ride right alongside the stacked cast of Tom Hardy, Austin Butler and Jodie Comer back in time to 1960s in Chicago with an impressive supporting cast of Michael Shannon, Norman Reedus, Boyd Holbrook and so many others.
This movie brings you into the Vandals Bike Gang, you become one of their ranks through the highs and extreme lows of a turbulent, and formative time in American culture.
Directed by Jeff Nichols (Mud, Take Shelter, Loving) it offers an unabashed look at a bygone time and a dying breed with a fascinating love story intertwined with aggressive violence, brotherhood and a search for belonging.

Hell yes, Coy! Went into this one not all that excited about it (even though that cast is bananas), and came out absolutely loving it. Palpable tone, memorable performances, and unorthodox story structure that I really dug. Felt like it was half a documentary, and half a story you'd hear at a bar. We need more films like this one!

I absolutely love the immersion I feel when I watch Almost Famous. It's always been one of my favorites. You saying the immersion is similar to that and being dazed and confused definitely confirmed to me that I need to watch this movie. I'm so excited to see it on Thursday!

I ride a bike and don’t go the cinema often but I can’t wait to see this film. It only releases in South Africa in August.
Saw The Bikeriders tonight and loved it. I really enjoyed the structure of the movie. Jodi Comer was brilliant. I was sucked into the whole environment and cared about the characters. Austin and Tom Hardy had great chemistry.

Would you compare Austin Butler’s performance to any of James Dean’s performances in his 3 films? I’ve been comparing Butler to Dean since Austin played Elvis 2 years ago. I believe Austin acts with the same level of on screen intensity and Old Hollywood style charisma that Dean had in the 1950’s in his era
Austin is definitely old Hollywood. I look forward to his upcoming movies.

(By the way, if it's in the 60s, the war was Korea, from where they came back in that time. Vietnam was yet about to take place, aand it ended in the 70s, Forrest Gump's days... 😉 )
Totally accurate on war timing I should have been more clear (film takes places mid 60s into mid 70s)
Vietnam war really started in the mid 60's so vets from Vietnam would have been returning. This movie covers from 1965 to the mid 70's . From all the reviews I have see it almost cover's a 10 year period. The Korean Was June 1950-July 1953. So that timeframe would have been too early for the return of vets in the Bikeriders. I knew guys that went to Vietnam and they could have returned anywhere from 1966 to 1972.
