Great review. Particularly for parents with small children. This is how all reviews should be. Technically knowledgeable but also relating to users in a relatable way.
I appreciate this review man, I been looking for a Kayak that I can take my kids on. The ability to turn the seats around it what sealed the deal. the site does not even say that so Im glad you showed it.
I just learn from you that front seat can turn around so cool which I didn't know, I bought this 130t about 4 months ago too. I am happy with it about everything except the hatch that water get into it very bad almost cause my kayak to sink .
I just ordered the yellowfin 130 today. Thanks for video, especially showing seat configuration. I didn’t know how it could be used as a solo, but now it makes sense. What kayak clips did you install. This is my first one so trying to learn as much as I can.. thanks
Hey man that's so cool! I'm glad the video was helpful. What exactly do you mean by kayak clips? Are you referring to the paddle clip? If so I just bought one off Amazon. They also have one at walmart. I think they're pretty much the same. I imagine they are all just plastic but I bet you the better more expensive ones come with corresponding quality in hardware
I can't answer that question. I'm sorry. The only ones I know of are the ones Vibe makes. But I bet you that's just so the mount matches the pre drilled holes. I would have to assume others would fit but you may have to create your own holes
I would not suggest it on open water at all. Was out on a windy day in a large body and water was coming over the side easily. Also doesn't track the best unless you add a rudder
Lol yeah it's like anything else normally. You get what you pay for a lot of times. But the main reason for buying that model was because it's got tandem seats to take my 3 year old out. You can flip the front seat around so he can face me
Great Review! Have you tried paddling solo from the normal back position?(not the center). The last tandem I had, I did that and it actually paddled very well that way. I had all my stuff in front of me so I could access it easily (and also to balance the load in the kayak). I was really surprised how well it handled that way. I have your exact model on order, and was just wondering about your opinion if you had tried paddling solo this way. Thanks!
I can't say that I have. But I'm going out today and I wouldn't mind trying it out for you. I'll hit you up later tonight and let you know what I thought. I love the kayak as you can tell from the video. There were just a couple negative things but neither were a deal breaker for me
@@GNRF_GripnNRipnFishn Thanks! That would be awesome to hear your opinion on that! I thought of another question as well...when you lift it by yourself by the center handles, does it feel fairly balanced bow to stern? I had a kayak that was very bow weighted when lifting from the side handles which made it awkward to lift alone. Thank again, NJoy your outing today
Yeah it's pretty wide because you can stand on it so it makes it difficult to pick up by yourself. But it is doable if you use proper form. I do think it's pretty evenly weighted. At least it wasn't noticeable to me

Hey I really appreciate the positive feedback. My boy is almost the right age! He's so close! He's 3 now. So I'm thinking later this year or next

Nice review. I’m looking to buy a used yellowfin and appreciated this greatly.
Thank you brother. My son and I love going out together. Don't have anything bad to say about it
Awesome review! I actually bought this same one after this review. Ticked all the boxes for me for reasons you gave.
Thanks man! Subbed!
Hey thanks a ton! I'm glad it helped! That's so awesome!
Good video. It’s a good design that allows the seat to be moved to the middle.
I love kayaks!! Vibe makes a good product 💪🏽
Yeah I'm super happy with it now that I have it set up the way I want it! Only thing I need now is a fish finder and trolling motor.....

Really? How did that happen? The hatch?
Like the dry well storage area? That's crazy!
Never fished from a Kayak before, I’ve always been a canoe guy myself
I fished in a canoe this past summer and it wasn't bad! I honestly didn't mind it. But the kayaks are lighter and set up for fishing gear!

@@GNRF_GripnNRipnFishn haha. Yeah.. paddle clips. Had kayaks on my mind. I will check out Amazon for them.
Yes it was super easy to install! But totally worth it. I think I paid like $8.99 or something
Great vid bro🤟
Hey thanks a lot brother!
Are there any other rudders that can fit the Yellowfin 130T? I can't seem to obtain the kit in Sydney
I can't answer that question. I'm sorry. The only ones I know of are the ones Vibe makes. But I bet you that's just so the mount matches the pre drilled holes. I would have to assume others would fit but you may have to create your own holes
Vibe makes a great kayak.
Yes I'm very happy with it! They have a really cool paddle board hybrid now!
Is this kayak good for open water or just lakes and river?
I would not suggest it on open water at all. Was out on a windy day in a large body and water was coming over the side easily. Also doesn't track the best unless you add a rudder
After a few month's now, what's your update on the kayak? Anything you found different (good and/or bad) after more usage?
I have the same one. I use it w my 10 yr old. It's awesome. Tons of space. Super stable. I fish in South fl and the fl keys.
Ah man that has to be beautiful!
My sister lives in Key West
Very good video.
Hey thanks a lot! I appreciate that!
This model is $1300 now. I like the vibe design but I can almost buy two singles at this price.

is it just the rear seat you have to use in the middle position or can the front seat be used? thought they were the same seat.
They are the exact same seat and interchangeable. You can also by a third seat
Great Review!
