@@ryanjoband9082 you might find you want to change the trigger to the MK25 trigger. I have both guns and I found the M11A1 trigger to be a weird flat shape and it would pinch your finger when it was pulled all the way back. Otherwise, a great gun.
@rjlane3475 thanks for the advice. I tried the trigger when I put in paperwork and it works well for me, I believe it has the SRT trigger with a very short reset
Hello. I understand and see that it's very similar to the p229 R. Do you have a demonstration video on how to install a red dot M6 scope into those pistols. That would be great to watch or if there is such a thing if a scope is possible .
External manual safety? I have this pistol. Need to find out how that works. I have pretty large hands and it fits comfortably in my hand. I don’t like the grip though. Seems a lil cheap. Feels like I could crack it if I squeezed hard enough. Other than that I love it.
The 228 not 229..................TRUST ME BRO !!! Grips stamp don't mean shit, P228 was out before P229 and 228 never had rails !!! It's a throw back to 228 , grips don't matter I've seen 228/229 grips on the M-11 , SO???? Just external extractor , trigger, and capacity !!!!
The very first handgun that I was able to buy in December 1993 was my Sig 228. Still have it.
Just ordered my M11...so excited, I just keep watching these videos until I take delivery. Always loved Sigs...no doubt I'll love this weapon too.
Same here! Not sure how I missed this amazing pistol for years, but I can't wait to take it home

just noticed this guy did the reverse. He put the short reach trigger in his 226.

There's just something about the hammer fired Sigs
A 229 without the rail makes it look so handsome. Makes me want to be like Gerard Butler in Olympus has fallen.
One of my favorite pistols of all time.. The elusive P228
Nice gun. My 10 year old M11-A1 came with P228 grips, which would be more in line with the original M11.
All SIG’s are U.S. produced. Sig Germany 🇩🇪 closed years ago.

Who cares about a “branded” lock? 90% of those get thrown away anyhow lol
The grip doesn’t even say p229 is says p223 lol

Says 229
No toes? What does that mean?
