@@philreynolds8464 Well, to be fair, I had the Prepenis Amulator, that one had 117 mono outputs but no stereo hold or backlog finishers, so I sold it. Then I bought the Mucktoo "Nancy Chicken". That one had great dark filtration but I could never get it to sync with my micro-popcorn. So yeah, I have been "around the block" somewhat before I got the Focuswong.

I feel like you are missing the point. Take a closer look at the techniques. Since I watched this tutorial I've been far more effective at squashing the spectacular to accentuate the vibe, and my tracks are feeling more nostalgic than ever. It bothers me when people attack youtubers for their style before taking the time to understand and apply the techniques. I for one find it refreshing that Woody is so open sharing his ideas instead of toning it down for fear of what some might say.
