Which Muscles take the longest to recover ? And I assume this is based alot on Muscle fiber construction ?

It all depends on which muscles were most used and for what. I’m not aware of research that describes the recovery rate of different muscle fibers but I could be wrong.

I am interested in this too and I did find out something like this (the research concluded): for the same amount of time and effort/ repetitions, in the end of the day, athletes who had more type 2 fibres were sore for longer than the type 1 fibres. I guess my own guess was never wrong, I watched for ages some of those skinny dudes riding their bikes daily while I was often complaining about soreness. The study was done on cyclists by the way. I don't have the link sorry.

Yea again goes back to the activity I would think - I can ride for hours and not really be sore but if I did just a few sets of squats I’d be hobbled the next day
