Hey, T! I love the 8 reales. In my younger years, I had a complete year set of the Carlos IV 8 reales. It was quite satisfying to have that collection. None of them were above Very Fine, but I loved that set. Sold it to start a gold type set of Escudos (1, 2, 4, 8--the 8 was a 1744 that later graded PCGS AU55--I sold that for a load of money). I purchased all those coins back in the 1980's. Thanks for the memories! Cheers.
Awesome 8 Reales collection. I don't have any yet but when I do I also want ones with many chop marks. You started this video talking about a coin like you used to do after you first started. I was loving it.
Spectacular 8 Reales collection T! Thanks for sharing! I’m a fan of the design with the seal of Spain on the reverse. Knowing they were circulating during the Colonial period is cool. The chop marks do add to the mystique & allure! The toning on your cap & ray is stunning! Great job on the T bars & bears!
These are what I really want to collect, I do agree they are very pricy, Thank you T! Always, Awesome, Always Amazing! Keep stacking, Keep collecting! have a great week! I do own one, but only one 8 real.
Spain and its influence on history and coinage is amazing. To be such a small country, they really had a global impact. I like the chop marks too, they show more humans interacting with each other and more history! Great looking coins!
Love the diverse content you and Mrs T have been putting out! Thanks for helping to educate us on world currency, I don't have any Spain coinage but you have definitely peaked an interest in the Reales for me
A bit late to this video but just a quick thank you for showing off those 8 Reales of yours. I prefer the pre-independence portrait and pillar design, but I have to say your 1895 toner steals the show here. Best wishes from Uk 🇬🇧 🤝🇺🇸
Those chop marks are cool historical markers of where its been and/or who's hands it went through. That would be a cool video series. Also, good info on the company in Spain Still waiting on your video on your watercolor art work 😐
A lot of these coins were used in trade in the Pacific and were heavily counterfeited, so people put chop marks to indicate that the coins were genuine.
T the Silver Stacker, just so you know, the early US government used countermarked Spanish reales as currency before the first US coins were minted in 1794
1895 silver coin was through reform of Mexican coinage that occurred towards the 1890s by the scientificos, a group of intellectual advisors of the Mexican dictator Porfirio Diaz.

The rain in Spain, falls mainly on the plain. We're hearing a lot about Tin lately! 🤔
Paulybuck mentioned your grading video about NGC and PCGS.
I noticed. That was very cool of him.
He said Spain is pretty though, I never been. He says it’s the best place that he has ever been. And he should know, he’s been there enough.
I would love to win that Tbar!
The 8 Reales was the predecessor to the US $1 coinage, when it comes to size and very close to weight of the coin as well.
Yes

Thanks!
I VISITED SPAIN,ITALY AND GERMANY IN THE 90'S
“Well I’ve never been to Spain, but I kinda like the music….”
You love the Spanish coins. How many have you collected so far

T the Silver Stacker, just so you know, the early US government used countermarked Spanish reales as currency before the first US coins were minted in 1794
I need to find one.
Do you know what the people in 1780s all could buy with a 8Reales, the buying Power?
I've Never Been To Spain, But I Really Dig The Music
If I win, I might check out the rain in Spain.
Hi T, new to your channel, would it be worth it to send an old coin that's been holed to PCGS? Thanks
I’m not sure how they’d grade that. Likely damaged. I don’t think it would fair well.

we love the spain coins
Very nice coins, when will Bravo create a Reales Housewives of Illinois franchise?
Awesome stock... the high in the last 12 months is 0.24 cents 🎉
I like the design on the reales minted by Spain better than the design first minted by Mexico after winning their independence.
Spain
Thanks for the giveaway
Spain changed the world.
Yes
Did you ever look for such coins when you were in Arizona.🌵
Interesting the Freemasonic symbolism on the Mexican 8 reales. Freemasons were at the head of nearly all the Spanish American independence wars
Which part of the design?
Nice coins were they only commissioned by Spain, or joint made with Mexico.
Mexico belonged to Spain until 1821.
Have you ever been to Spain?
I kind of like the music!
I need to go someday!
My relatives are from Spain
España
