I was in highschool and i learnt my grade in math wasnt high enough to get into the univeristy program i wanted unless i aced the final exam. This song made me have faith in myself, it was like telling me "lets make this happen, girl". Id listen to this on repeat while teaching myself a semester's worth of math to stop me from being overwhelmed. And now im a graduate of that desired program working in its field. :) this song makes me feel like i can do anything. Thanks two door cinema club.

There's someone in my life that i cannot get out of my heart. We tried and i guess it failed, don't really understand why and maybe it doesn't matter. I was coming out of a terrible time in my life and he showed me that i could be happy. When i hear this i can remember him telling me i deserve happiness (the opposite of what i had heard for years). he saw a great woman in me. He showered me with optimism and i started believing in myself again. We had fun together, it was something so nice and pure. Now I see him pretty much every day and no matter how much my heart wants to leap out of my chest and tell him I miss him I just stand my ground and pretend that it doesn't hurt, that i'm fine without him (which i am). No matter what I always have memories attached to him and therefore to this song.
Forgot how free and open this cd makes me feel again!!
