- Day 3 of our17 day Spanish motorbike tour. From Logrono to Salou via some amazing roads.
We would have loved to have explored more but our schedule was so tight and there was a lot of Spain to cover.

Thanks Paul. I have never been before and was very pleasantly surprised at how lovely it was there. I would definitely do another trip to try and see some more of this country.

Man. Loving these vids. Keep em coming. I drove through Zaragoza but in a rental car April this year. I need to ding a way to get my bike over there. I would do the ferry and all. Bad ass !!! Don't edit out the beer scenes 😂 🍺
Alberto! Always great to hear from you. I saw those videos you did of Spain. Great footage and that drone was excellent. You should definitely do that. It would be a long ferry trip from Florida though, plenty of time for beers. I hope to do a bike trip through Florida in the next year or two, but until then we will just have to watch each others films and dream.

Great videos!! How did you mount the camera? Have been trying (unsuccessfully) to get a similar angle. Always end up with lots of shaking. Ride safe and keep the videos coming

Glad you liked them. This trip was in May but it was a bit hit and miss with the weather. in the end we were lucky. I'd go June if you are able though

It was the beginning of May, even then it was a bit hit and miss as to whether or not we’d have decent weather. We just got lucky really. There was bad weather but we were just ahead of it each day. Good luck and enjoy your trip.
Harley’s are famous for their exhaust sound but no Harley has the original exhaust, it’s the first thing to change when new. 😆
Except when you live in Germany ;-)

Just a quickie don’t know whether you did or not for 2018 could you put names of hotels you stay in they all look nice just easier when I look at booking places 👍😂
We haven't done the 2018 trip yet, but I will try to include more details in future. Meantime I don't know if you've already seen this, but here is the 2017 list
1: Logrono - hotel sercotel portales 61euros
2 & 3: Salou - regent aragon 164euros for two nights
4: Valencia - premium apartments 64euro
5&6: Alcudia de Gaurdix - cuevas del tobias (don't have the price as Chris paid for all of us)
7: Granada - hotel la marquesa 108 euros
8: Ronda - hotel don Miguel 64 euros
9: Cadiz - hotel las cortes de cadiz 86 euros
10&11: Seville - hotel Cervantes 230 euros for two nights
12: Plasencia - Parador de plasencia 198 euros
13: Leon - hotel real colegiata san isidoro 190 euros
14: picos - haven't got the name of this one, but you can probably see it in the video. It was around 40 something euros.
All were booked through booking.com and were chosen primarily for their safe on site parking

Are the bikes safe parked in the street?
We spent a lot of time only booking hotels that had secure parking. It was the most important consideration in booking. I love that bike dearly and would be devastated if something happened to it.

with my gopro 5 big sonde from wind .....I think because without box .....maybe
I use an external lavalier microphone and place it behind something so it doesn't record the wind. You need to check it can record a low frequency (like 30hz) to get the exhaust note right. Hi Carl, we used two paper map books to find the good roads. The one you can see in this film is the Harley owners group Europe map 2014 which highlights some of the more scenic roads. We also used a spiral bound Michelin map of Spain from Amazon at about £8 which is in more detail and also highlights the scenic routes. Hope that helps.
