Thank you for sharing these videos with us - your TH-cam audience. I wonder if it would be possible to see inside some of these dwellings? In one of these fascinating videos I noticed a woman with dustpan and broom doing what she could to keep her small area neat and tidy. Seeing that, and the many, many smiling faces of children everywhere you went somehow gladdened my heart. Amid the filth and squalor the humanity of these people shone through brightly. I wish I could do something to help, but I am just an old man in a small room somewhere, watching, and sometimes weeping...
That was intense! Watched the whole video, In some parts I felt claustrophobic as watched you walk into tight places. I love the people there, they seem to be very nice and warm.
Yes me too. Everything is so open where I live, so to watch this video, made me feel closed in. I guess if you are born & brought up there, it won't bother you, but I couldn't visit there. I would have to stay on the outskirts of it.
The children are like athletic acrobats the way they maneuver across those bamboo pilings and walkways. God bless them .😊. (Don't forget to tip your young guide.) Very nice video.
Yeah you guessed it right, I myself was puzzled with the way these local kids maneuver this walkways easily despite myself taking too much precaution for I might fall. I made sure after the coverage to share some financial consolation on the local kid who toured me around. Thanks for watching.
I must agree. A big help from this local boy who I met accompanied me and toured me around all the alleys on that place. Of course after the coverage I gave the little man some financial consolation. Glad you enjoyed the video, see you on the next one.
Truly lost for words. Anyone who's watching this video on their shiny LED flat-screen TV in their comfortable home ( like me), and you think you're having a bad day, I'd suggest replaying this video. OMG, it just puts everything into a sharp, focused perspective. Quite sad and yet at the same time extremely revealing.

Life must be so difficult for these people especially in the rainy season. You have to admire them because they work so hard for very little money and every day must be a struggle.
Hi Jiggers TV! Thanks for shedding light on our Filipino family members situation... My Social media Advocacy group would like to team up with you to donate rice and supplies to our sisters and brothers in Munting Aplaya. Is there any way that this can happen within the next 30 days?

If the garbage are just getting collected, a lot recycle plastic. The water homes is not too bad. Considering the poverty, there are some good looking young women.
I have noticed they always look happy. Is that lad (with the yellow & black striped top) your guide? I hope you pay him. Where I live, lads are paid to take illegal drugs around the estate, so to see lads helping, it looks so much better. Even if he is paid. He deserves it.

How do people live like that? It’s one thing to be indigent, but quite another to have your surroundings be kept clean. People can be poor and still properly dispose of their solid and other waste products. People in these slum communities are extremely undisciplined; they use the waterways as their dumpsters. This results in environmental degradation and impedes water flow which causes massive flooding. That is nothing short of disgusting as one can just imagine the stench coming from the ubiquitous amounts of trash and garbage that cover the water. The discarded pollutants thrown into the water appear to be so thick that you can almost walk on it. The living conditions of these people are unfathomably sad and their dwelling places are unsafe, unsanitary, and unfit for human habitation. This is not just an economic issue but also a social issue.
