Going back to the Harrier after a long absence. Will be watching many of your videos to get the systems back in mind. Thank you.

👍 I like, this is a comment, and I am a subscriber. Thanks for the video, today I learned how to use the TPOD to see buddy/JTAC lasers.

Nice video mate. Could you upload a challenge please? With the active pause off and using a human JTAC could you manually input the 9 liner in real time? Every JTAC video only uses the ai and active pause so there is no pressure on the pilot. Also implement strikes using the yard stick for danger close strikes? Thanks mate

Sounds like fun. I'll consider doing this in the future.

Currently playing the guided bombs tutorial and I can't seem to communicate with the JTAC. Setting mode 2 on radio 2, pressing the radio 2 HOTAS button, hitting F9 for the JTAC and selecting 30 (or any min) option does nothing. I haven't touched anything besides what I was told in the tutorial and the radio is at max volume.
Learning the Harrier is very frustrating for me compared to the A-10C that I learned in mere days, I can't get around its weird HOTAS controls and the outdated and inaccurate tutorials make it even more difficult to learn.

@Deephack Can you transmit the generated cas page to the other harriers???

As I understand it that is a feature IRL in the harrier but not in DCS.

@@deephack I wonder what will happen if you set such a page and another harrier hits Shift+Alt+8

Hey deephack, thanks for the awesome content. Your videos are a great help. When following your guide, I receive the information from the JTAC on my CAS page no problems. I then press use and number my target point and press ENT. I head on over to the EHSD and see it has marked the target point for me. I unselect DATA, text turns from red to green, all good. At this point I can only cycle between the waypoints available to me and not the target points, there appears to be none. Am I missing something here or would this be an annoying harrier - ism / bug!?

There has subsequently been a change to how waypoints are cycled using the WP increment button. You now need to do a long press of WP Inc to get the quick access menu on the ODU and select target points. More details here th-cam.com/video/Z3Ofdk-WvCc/w-d-xo.html

I like using the course knob to plot ingress stuff.

Man I'd say with that CAS page, this is the easiest module to do JTAC stuff with.

Great explanation and thanks for zooming in. So many videos do not zoom in which makes it hard to see.

That PageCLR on the CAS page... Thank you so much Deephack ! I used to create a new WP for a target. Now I'll up my sim game !
