Here's another cheeky little tip - if you put one of your radios into M (Manual), then type in a manual frequency of exactly "30.0001" - it will allow you to operate on 30FM. Very useful when working alongside Helicopters. 🤙

is this a bug, an easter egg, or a feature?

I have both AV and the A10C, because of you I no longer fly the A10, which it was supposed to be the love of my life.:)

Both are great aircraft, especially with all the updates to the A10. I'll always be a harrier boy though :-)

After over 10 years in DCS I’ve finally decided to learn the harrier! I’ve spent a large part of this weekend going through the training missions 🤮
Lots of outdated or incomplete info in those missions. Thank goodness for vids like yours to help fill in the gaps and flatten the learning curve! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Great video. I had no idea about the DTV sidewinder track and I've been flying this thing for more than 3 years!

cool video and really cool that you worked on sound volume in your videos, perfect! :) you are the one who taught me harrier from the basics, really appreciate that! :)

Thanks, I'm not a professional when it comes to audio or video production so sometimes it takes me a while to get things right. I think it's getting better though.

Thanks for this video, I like the Harrier, but I find I'm always in training mode with this aircraft because I am flying the F-16 so much that I am even struggling with the Hornet. So sad that I am wallowing in such aircraft goodness!

Also handy tip - don't forget to turn up your sidearm volume on start up so you don't spend days trying to work out why they aren't locking anything! 🤦

Oh I didnt realize that was it, now it explains why im having so much trouble locking sams. It does seem to lock but sometimes not at all once your close, it could be from having turned down the volume after the lock noise.

I must test this and leave it at full volume to see if that my issue all the time, most times, since I do S.E.A.D. often. 🙏

I have just downloaded this module finally. I was worried that Razbam would not support their stuff like they abandon the Strike Eagle and didn't want a dead module. But, ED has stepped up and supported it so it's all good. As a noob, I just now got the basics of flying down and slowly learning each system. What's all those chevrons flashing around the HUD? I am sure it's something important. Anyone care to illuminate me? I need it! lol

They come from the FLIR camera in the nose. It has a feature called hotspot detector. It can pick up targets based on their heat signature however it creates a lot of false positives also and that is what you are seeing mostly.

I really enjoy your content, thanks. Have you noticed that new versions of the Harrier can't hover at the same weight anymore? It has to be very light to hover, needing H2O and at the engine limits. Maybe it was overpowered before, but it seems like they reduced it too much. Your thoughts?..thanks-

The adjustment was to make the engine model more accurate. It also resulted in better performance at altitude which I like. I trust their numbers and SME feedback on the issue.

With DCS world, i spent five times more on p.c. upgrades then purchased mods, which is better because mods only work for the sim. The harrier with Syria map is nice, but im still cpu bound on current set up, almost lol..

For some reason, the lettering in your MFDs and HUD are a lot clearer in your game than in mine.
Wondering if theres some graphic wettings I need to change.

Play around with the gain and contrast settings per MPCD. Or set resolution of cockpit displays to 1024.
