How do you know when to stop extracting brake fluid from the bleed valve? I mean, how can you tell the new fluid is coming through, can you see a difference? It looks like about half a cup.
That's a good question. In most cases the old brake fluid is not dark so you can't tell by the change of color of the fluid. I use my judgement guessing the capacity of the caliper & brake line. About 1/2 to 3/4 cup.
