The Thanglings are 6 weeks old and it's time to start introducing them to adult dogs other than Momma ThanggG. They get to meet father Alrick and Uncle Magnus.
It’s pretty incredible that the same mouth that can send a grown adult to the hospital can grab a puppy without leaving a scratch. What an awesome personality on that pooh pup!
I mean, every animal who is there to raise their small ones is supposed to know instinctively how to be gentle and to play with very measured strength.
❤ this. Yup. To me it always amazes how Mama dogs, go directly into mama role the moment of birth, and yes, they are very protective of their babies at first. Especial before all the running around and playing. But Uncle Magnus is truly a playful uncle. Love their ears. Already up. Alexandra did so well with her first litter of puppies. Great momma Thangg.
I loved how Magnus actually launched himself off of purple in a split second after the yelp and was like "Oh shoot, you okay bud? Nice! Come at me! Dang, you're so strong!" Gonna be real good for the puppys confidence later in life because its distress signals were taken seriously AND it managed to win against uncle Magnus right after its short life flashed before its eyes. @modernmalinois Love what you and your team are doing, Matt! Keep up the great work! ❤
Magnus reminds of Jules dad from Disney movie 🐦 Rio2. Grandpa was playfully playing with Blue and Jules kids like he wasn't the old fellow 🐦 anymore 😂. Thanks for updating us on the family. Btws you have gain you a new subscriber :)
The unfortunate aspect of these videos is that you make Malinois ownership appear easy when it actually requires significant experience and resources. You do an amazing job with the puppies and adult dogs and I wish every breeder/trainer had your dedication and respect for the animals.❤
Adorable puppy videos notwithstanding, he’s constantly exhibiting training methods and expressing the importance of starting young. I would hope ppl would recognize that his mals are well-trained and not just innately following commands. I know many ppl are foolishly buying them and they’re sadly ending up in shelters. I just don’t think (hope) it’s ppl watching these videos, many of which have educational content. I think responsibility falls on potential owners to research the breed and on the breeders to vet the potential owners-their lifestyle and capabilities. The irresponsible Malinois owner/breeder trend is definitely upsetting.
Yes, he definitely makes it look easy. And you’re always going to get those idiots that think that their dog will be just like his. The Burstyn, popularity of this breed over the last few years has not been a good thing in my opinion. Are used to have a friend that was a dog trainer, she said the worst thing that could happen to a breed of dog is for it to become popular. I think she’s right. These are definitely not dogs for the average dog owner. Not even close.
I love the absolute HERD of puppies chasing after the adult dogs and pinning them down 😂 best thing ever to see them working in a team like this. Also, the sacrifice the shoe to save the ankle was just adorable.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. These videos are therapeutic. Watching the dogs interact with one another and hearing you describe and narrate it is just calming and relaxing. Hands down the best TH-cam channel for dog lovers and just in general. Crazy that you don't have more subscribers.
I love how the puppies colouring is such a perfect mix of their sires. Alrick is such a good poohpah. Magnus is so handsome, look at those ears. Nice to see Alex's body in recovery.
All the grown up pups are so good with the babies - and the babies are confident enough to push their boundaries and learn from the big guys... so fantastic! Beautiful behaviour and conditioning
Hard to believe that the Thanglings are already weaned! Feels like yesterday that they were just born and now look at them, just amazing representatives of their breed and absolutely adorable!! As much as I'd love a Mal, I think its best if I watch professionals!
My favorite thing in the world is seeing someone doing what they were clearly born to do, and loving it. You were clearly born to work with these incredible dogs, to help them, in turn, do all the things they were born for. It's a joy to observe. What an absolutely beautiful family. 😊
I really, really love how he went instantly to 0 at the first "ouch" from the purple kiddo. And mommy didn't jump at him either. The whole thing is so wholesome ! It reminds me of a malinois family I've met, with a doting dad who was spending a lot of time cleaning his kids.
My boy was an amazing help in raising pups and helping them become good dogs It's crazy how stable and well rounded your dogs are. Working in rescue for 30 yrs ive seen what poor breeding and raising can do to a dog. I love watching these dogs being so very loved.
It makes my heart happy to see Alrick and Magnus again, and all the grown-up Mals reunited. Alexandra looks so fit and healthy, considering she was just nursing eight growing puppies. Blue seems very confident, not shy about wrestling Alrick and Magnus (or biting ankles)
This made me remember watching my 2 year old mal play with his baby bro. The sounds they would make! The flash of fangs and toofies! Love that these videos bring back memories!
Watching these video's makes me want to get a Malinois, but then I remember that this breed does not suit me at all hehe. I love watching the pups play with the adults!
Reminder, those are baby-malinators! Those teeth are SHARP!!! I love watching your videos and your dogs, but I will still to my Retrievers, At my age, Malinois are TOO MUCH.
My 70lb dog plays that way with our 11lb dog. She didn't know how to play at first and the other dog, a Shiba Inu, didn't let her know when she was being too rough. The little dog is all mouth and totally in charge. She has trained all of the 50+ dogs in our family.
Omg adorbs overload. I'm in Thangling heaven! The adult dawgs were so incredible with the pups. Ty, I have a stupid grin on my face, can't get rid of it. 🥰🥰🥰😘😘😘
What nice balanced dogs you have here, MM, wow, truly beautiful to see. Where i come from, the birthplace of malinois (belgium), every one can get a malinois, and so the animal shelters are full with them. Counting malinois and armstaffs together, they make up half (!) of the population there. Sorry to get the sad note, but seeing your amazing dogs shows how great and happy they can be with the right tutor/trainer..
Can you please make a longer video of the pups playing, it will very helpful to watch for therapy like you mentioned. Thanks for sharing this moments. 🐾🐾
This is amazing! Thank you for educating us, I learn so much about my dog wathcing your videos.I have a 2 yo girl samoyed and she always retreats when conflict arises. I always thought she is shy and afraid, now I understand she is wise and and well behaved. 🙏🏼 Your dogs are wonderful.
I deal with chronic pain, and some days are worse than others. I've added your channel to my list of things that help, because your relationships with your dogs makes me so happy! Wish you were local, I'd love to give the puppies kisses!
I lost my pup about 6 months ago. Though I’m not close to adopting any pups in the near future, I truly enjoy your vids. I plan on introducing your techniques when training begins.
I’d love to see how you introduce bite work, I see a lot of people play on frustration, and I feel like the intensity gets to a level where the dog loses control. I love how you treat and raise both your dogs and the puppies you’ve bred, I hope to learn a lot more about how you train!
I am totally in love with all of your Dogs!!! The way you have shown your way of teaching the pups from so early on and all the adult dogs. I sooo wish i could have a job at Modern Malinois. Do you have a sense of which pups will be "natural" for the work they will do? For example "The Duchess of Feist" seems quite the pup with those qualities. Although I guess it's early days yet.... Thanks for such great content and love how you are so open about being Autistic and so proud of it as well. I to am Autistic and I can see your dedication to what you do is second to none, at least from what I've seen online. It must have been great to have a good teacher/mentor. All the best to all the dogs, large and small.
I can't tell you how badly I'd love to work for you, I'm just too far away. You treat your dogs with more kindness than I've ever seen. I treat my dogs like this too and people tell me I'm "spoiling" them, but I think that your animals shouldn't come back because you feed them, but rather because you treat them with love and kindness.
They react the same as little kids when they suddenly have a man as a babysitter or group leader. The adult males are like a a canine jungle gym to them!
You do such a great job with these pups. Very impressed. We made the mistake of doing two malis at once as older adults… I am very used to dogs and have a long history with highly active dogs who need a lot of training..and yet I was still not fully prepared for what two maligators really need. 19 years later… it has been a fun ride. They are not fully trained as strong as I would like, but they are great dogs and I will never do two at once again. However, it is time for a new pup so the old can train the young.
Did you happen to be in a TSC store last Saturday 4/28? I had a man who looked just like you walk in and bee-line to my 14 week old Mal pup while I was checking out and just cuddle bomb the living hell out of her while she was sitting and waiting for me to finish... When we were done the cashier walked over with a treat and asked if the man wanted a treat and before she could say "...to give the puppy." He looked over at her, opened his mouth and said, "ooh, i'll take 2 please!" If it wasn't you, you should know you have a doppelganger in MT. If it was... thanks! I was laughing so hard when i got to my car I just had to ask. A very memorable shopping day for both of us! Oh, my wifey and I love the channel, videos and the great insight into the minds of our amazing beasts.
This warms my heart! Thanks for sharring! The puppies are coming along beautifully. I can really see the planning and love that goes into every day you have with them. It’s pretty incredible that the same mouth that can send a grown adult to the hospital can grab a puppy without leaving a scratch. What an awesome personality on that pooh pup!
The sign of a remarkable protection dog is being able to embody both extremes of caring and ferocity.
سبحان الله
I mean, every animal who is there to raise their small ones is supposed to know instinctively how to be gentle and to play with very measured strength.
You should check out alligator moms moving their babies. They are so gentle.

"KIDS! KIDS!! I DON'T HAVE MILK I DON'T *MAKE* MILK STOP STOP STOP STOP"
😂😂😂😂😂
He actually doesnt care 😨
Isnt he sensetive in that area??
one puppy was biting his balls lol
Well I mean, he kinda does make his own kind of milk💀
@@heythankstommy **loud buzzer noise** JAIL!!
The way Magnus immediately jumps back when purple yelps is awesome. He isn’t hyper fixated on play and he really thinks through his actions.
puppy therapy ❤️🙏✨😊
I loved how Magnus actually launched himself off of purple in a split second after the yelp and was like "Oh shoot, you okay bud? Nice! Come at me! Dang, you're so strong!"

LoL I don't think it looks easy. I think these dogs are amazing and the last dogs in the world I should have... Except maybe a border Collie
This is his job! It may "look" easy but many videos he shares shows its not
Anyone who actually has a dog and actively trains them knows what he does is not easy. My dogs are "well trained", but nothing close to his dogs.
I love the absolute HERD of puppies chasing after the adult dogs and pinning them down 😂 best thing ever to see them working in a team like this.
Also, the sacrifice the shoe to save the ankle was just adorable.
Magnus and Purple resolving a conflict together was so sweet 🥲
2:31 the one puppy going in to bite Alricks family jewels lmaooo
“you ain’t making anymore of us dad”

There’s no shortage of loyal subscribers here!
You're probably having so much Deja Vu watching the Thanglings with their dad. Rocky would be proud his grandpups.
Aww, Alrick was such a good boy during the whole time! Such a good Poohpup🐶🧚♀️
YAS! He’s just some kind of Poohpup!
4:43 “oh no! 🥺! Look! I’m in silly guy stance!! Look! Here’s my whole belly!!”
Could definitely watch this all day. Magnus is my absolute favorite!! I love the unique dark streaks of color on his inner legs. Stunning.
Magnus is another level of dog. Like a freak of nature of you want, as he's so up there.
Gorgeous. Such a happy and healthy life you provide for these pups. They are going to go on to do great things. Kudos, sir!
I love how the puppies colouring is such a perfect mix of their sires. Alrick is such a good poohpah.
Magnus is so handsome, look at those ears. Nice to see Alex's body in recovery.
The Thanglings have gotten so big! It's amazing seeing how you and their family raise them + they are already little superstars 🥰
All the grown up pups are so good with the babies - and the babies are confident enough to push their boundaries and learn from the big guys... so fantastic! Beautiful behaviour and conditioning

The ankle bite lol. Puppy teeth are like little needles! Very cute video
A Pile of Thanglings is a beautiful sight 🥲🥲🥲
I could watch this all day, too❣️🐾❣️
I love Magnus he is such a cool dog of course they're all such cool dogs
I really, really love how he went instantly to 0 at the first "ouch" from the purple kiddo. And mommy didn't jump at him either. The whole thing is so wholesome ! It reminds me of a malinois family I've met, with a doting dad who was spending a lot of time cleaning his kids.
Alrick is such a good father! I can’t wait to see them continue to grow and bond
No only the playbites, but he is awesome with where he puts his feet and weight! That's not easy for animals to really do.
My boy was an amazing help in raising pups and helping them become good dogs
It's crazy how stable and well rounded your dogs are. Working in rescue for 30 yrs ive seen what poor breeding and raising can do to a dog. I love watching these dogs being so very loved.
They have grown sooo much !

They are all so beautiful! And the ears are coming up. Love them all♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
I cannot cope with the absolute cuteness! To think they could break your leg with a bite and there they are just playing like that. Beautiful ❤
Oh my how wonderful is this. One big happy family. Truly is great to see them get along so well.
This was super fun and adorable to watch! The way they know how to be careful and "say sorry" if they forget it beautiful ❤
One day I wish I could get a puppy of yours 😊 your videos are so educational, thank you so much for those.🎉
Awe! 🥈 to comment wins chin scratches given to Alrick from you!

Yes I agree

He looked SO excited to meet his puppies, then had such a look of sheer panic when they tried to nurse from him 😂
Not the bite on his manly parts😭🤣 and the “yeah that’s not something for you, that’s not what mama has”
