🔥 Jiu Jitsu Practitioners, Ready to Finally Feel Confident on Your Feet? 🔥 FREE COURSE: The 2 takedowns you should focus on, regardless of age or skill level, when you’re not experiencing consistent success on your feet AND a unique way to drill so you can actually hit them live. 👉 Just tell us where to send it… www.wrestling.university/FREECOURSE
Yeah Adam!! Just checking out these videos and look forward to train again with you soon. I started going to a new gym here in California and the teacher asked "where'd you wrestle?". And I told him the story of all you taught me about wrestling
For mma / bjj though I’d rather take his back than bulldoze him. Also when you spin, I was shown to release the headlock and use that arm to block their arm as you soon. So like your right arm blocking his right arm
We all have preferences, go with what fits your specific game the best. Also the technique you’re referencing is actually my favorite way to get to the back from the front head lock (I call it the “the hand replacement” finish), but the finish in this video offers solid basic control with more finishing options i.e. side control or the back so it works for a broader audience with diverse taste. But again, stick to what’s natural to you 🤙🏻
Hey Gladson, I was based in Los Angeles, but just relocated to the midwest. Where are you located? Even if I'm not nearby I know wrestlers and trainers everywhere maybe I can help...
I've hurt my back in jui jitsu somehow I haven't gone to the Dr yet but I will I'm hoping it's just a sprain or a strain. Coach what do you do for core strengthening and how can I improve and build my legs strong like your legs?
Actually coming out with a strength video very soon. Also, if you only do one thing for your back get the book “Healing Back Pain” by John Serno. Coming from a guy who has suffered chronic low back pain for 13yrs this helped me heal more than anything. Can get if on Thriftbooks.com for a few bucks. Let me know how things develop brother
Do you have any advice on good mma or grappling gyms in the south seattle area of Washington state? Anything helps, thank you for making these videos, the details you provide are absolutely the best.
Sorry brother I do not :/ my advice is to Google some gyms in your area and check out a few. Go with one that you feel most at home at. Let me know if you find one!
@@WrestlingUniversity im at an mma gym now! Peak mma and fitness, under a tom deblass bjj brown belt and ex pride fighter. Thank you for your response! Think we could get an in depth grip fighting breakdown?
Dude! No no no everyone learns on TH-cam now. If they laugh just double leg them Lol and good on you for competing! I’m so glad you found a great place to train, consistency is everything so well done on finding a consistent place to train sir. As far as grip fighting goes have you seen this video yet: th-cam.com/video/wX6TZnyl9pE/w-d-xo.html
