I have no words to say how inspired I am by your sculptures!!! Truly wonderful work=) Thank you for sharing your work and the ideas and manufacturing behind them.
amazing work. Some machines are creapy, but the engineering behind each work is just mind blowing. Now this is the art I understand and support 100%. amazing
Fantastic jig... I have a wooden one I fabricated for some of my kinetic sculptures, but the tolerances are WAY off compared to this. I hope I can find a way to replicate gears more accurately as part of my Masters... this will go a long way towards helping! Thanks, Arthur. You are an inspiration!
FYI for those asking about the type of welder. I spoke to Mr. Ganson and he said this: " The spot welder that I have used primarily is pretty small and has been used for tacking- to be followed by silver soldering. Welders of the same ilk are like this below. I made my handset, but they can be purchased. They are a bit pricey! Company: Sun Stone Spot Welders "
what an elegant machine i don't see how you determine the diametral pitch of the gear, or how measure where you are supposed to bend the wire. maybe you could explain how this works briefly? thanks!
I have been working with wire for the last few weeks, I came to your work looking for how to make wire gear and I see that you have solved all my problems. At this moment I am replicating your tool to bend wire, do you have any scheme of measurements? the same for template to make gears? Thank you very much, your work is very inspiring in many ways.
The zig you have seems to be very useful to make different shapes with the wires. Is it possible to have the fabricated by me ; if so will you please render me the design aspect. I am presently making a model during my leisure hours as a hobby.Hope my request will receive your due attention and help me in this. Thanks in Advance

My, jaw, just, dropped. You are the MAN.
I THINK the spacing between the two pins determines diameter and/or number of teeth somehow, but I'm not certain.
Nice...I want to buy one!
I'm just in awe.
are those homemade tools? pretty cool dude.
Is this an oxy acetylene or oxy propane torch? Thanks.
interesting, i had wondered how you made your gears
Hi, do you have any info on your spot welder?
what an elegant machine

I believe the 2 pins act as stops to determine the bend
What kind of tact welder are you using before you Oxy-Act weld?
I think it’s just brazed or soldiered after

How’s your project coming along?
Creative
What kind of spot welder have you there?
Can anyone tell us what kind of spot welder he is using?

Why do you both solder AND spot-weld?
go....go....go....go
You got wayyyyyyyyy too much time on your hands! HaHa! Neat though.
