For me its too late and expensive to start collecting anything from the motu classics line, so the masterverse line seems like a good alternative. This video helped me a lot to decide if I wanted to collect this line. Thx, and great video.

And I would be all in for that. I was thinking the other day now that Cats Lair is coming out… And it's going to be bigger than snake Mountain… I wouldn't be surprised to see Matel do a Newcastle Grayskull that is bigger and has four sides. 🤯🤯🤯. With all of the images circulating online of the original designs for the four sided castle, I honestly believe that there are designers and engineers and companies thinking about how to make it for not more than $1000. Lol lol because it’s gonna have a hefty price tag if it has four sides, and if it’s that big on par with like the new cat lair, for example…
@@HappyPursuits yeah, a Castle Grayskull for masteverse scale would be amazing. Itll definetly gets people heads turning towards masterverse. The new Vykron is what got me into it. I thought if they did more New Eternia and homages in the masterverse line, it might catch up to classics. But a four sided Castle Grayskull got me hyped now. Even if it got close to the $1000 price range; id still probably support it. This line has given me an affordable alternative for collecting MOTU figures. Even origins is getting pricey. With $200 I would be able to buy 1 classics figure. But now I can buy like 20 in the masterverse line.

Same! I missed out on Classics completely. I didn’t even know they existed until 2020 lol. I’ve picked up some and I have my grail figure, Super7 Ultimate He-Man. But no way I can afford to build that collection these days. Revelation is definitely hitting a good spot imo. Origins too and in a different way bc it’s vintage styled. It’s an epic time to be a MOTU fan for sure!
Wow I haven’t seen it in stores yet. The one in this video is the SDCC exclusive version. It was sold on Mattel Creations during San Diego Comic Con this past summer. It’s sort of an “ultimate” version.

I looked at reviews on youtube thinking the ones i saw were my imagination...and all the comments were about the head looking off and the paint does not match the body. So i was right. I guess the SDCC that you have had a different better factory process
The kids cgi version? Or the one in this video? All good just interested in your opinion. Tbh I didn’t like the kids cgi Netflix version at first. But then I saw someone post a pic with it next to some Classics and other He-Man figs and I was like okay it’s pretty cool lol. While I like the one in this video here I would still like a version of He-Man with proportions closer to the new cartoon. I feel this one has really narrow shoulders and a sunken chest for sure.
@@HappyPursuits, no, the first Revelation He-Man. The head sculpt it's terrible. It's very tough to sculpt non-vintage He-Man heads. The only ones that could accomplish it, were the Four Horsemen in Classics.

So I'm not invested in the line and was getting this one because months ago the pics looked incredible. So figured he warranted 2 purchases 1 to open and 1 to keep moc for novely reasons. But I can't do this wash. You know how I think I noticed? I think a video on here and then I was like wait what? Ran yto bbts and checked and was like wtf bro. 😳 I just don't make any sense. I like washes and shading on my dios, not my figures. Or at least they have to be applied correctly, here they are not haha.

All are solid figures. Except for the Revelation He-Man. I think it's He-Man's worst rendition to date.
