  • I love how different these 2 paintings came out! Same colors, layered the exact same way, but with a very different outcome. This is why I love acrylic pouring so much! Hope you enjoy the video! Thank you so much for watching. Happy painting!
Pouring Medium: Floetrol/gloss medium varnish 70/30 - mixed one part paint to 3 parts medium and water to thin
Colors used: pyrrole red, turquoise green, peacock blue, white, silver

The wandering straight pour is my favorite. Like many have already pointed out it reminds me of a southwest design Navajo blanket. Just before you began to stretch the paint out it resembled a baby wrapped up in a blanket ready to be put on a cradleboard. The turquoise, which is my favorite is beautifully encased amongst the complimenting colors . The other painting is quite beautiful as well. Both are awesome. 💗

Ok, so, wow! When you tilted out the wandering straight pour my heart time warped back to my childhood like lightening! That turquoise next to the bright red and silver looks exactly like a Navajo blanket I had, especially where the turquoise feathered up into the red. I love that one! The other one is striking but doesn't ring my bell. I'm heading upstairs right now to my studio to mix paint and I cannot wait to see what happens.
On a side note, which gloss medium varnish are you using? The one I have, jo sonja I think, just doesn't seem to work well. My colors muddy.

The paintings are both interesting and pretty but the wandering ring pour has lines interacting like a mix of freeways in California. But much prettier and much less awful as those freeways. I love much more the second one you tilt . The one at your right, I like the movement in it, fabulous. On the wall it is the left side
