I took great comfort in you saying "hatching" when you meant emerging. I do that all the time and then beat myself up when i edit the video. Your crew of minions really get it done!
@@aCanadianBeekeepersBlog sorry to bother you but can you please please answer this question I’ve tried other channels and they just do not reply back to my question. There is a TH-cam channel that talks a lot about Africanized bees that they are all over the United States they’re all over the world and we should not even try to start any type of bee population in so many words they’re telling us to kill them because they go out and kill people animals and destroy the native population that actually does the work that bees do I forgot the Word that I’m looking for I think it’s pollination the native pollination insects are dying off and that we are in great danger because the native population is almost dissipated because of the European honeybees. So do you think I should start a small bee farm here in Dallas Texas I’m actually talking about that in the country it’s a small town called Howe Texas please let me know and advise me what do you think? God bless you sir your family and your friends and all your viewers That follow your channel thank you. ✝️✝️✝️🇺🇸
Good looking crew, all getting the feel of manual labor while learning many lessons along the way. It reminds me of my youth, although I was baling hay, tossing (or rolling) rocks onto the 'stone boat', and pulling mustard from the oats field. The 'pulling mustard' may hint of my old age. And when I worked for the neighbor, I even got paid some cash! I'm guessing 'these minions' will reminisce about their bee farm labors when they are my age. It's all good.
Awesome work as always Ian! Another turnaround from tough pickings in the spring to heavy honey production! Good to see you have the help running hard! I bet it's a welcome break for you!
Hi teacher Ian great season ... great field ... im sure you get good amount of honey that great ... i like to send some of my black beehoney to taste it ... i like to meet you some day
Every now and again they'll do a summer crop here in the UK, I wish they'd do more though as this year we only had a couple of foraging days in Norfolk when the OSR was flowering. No crop at all. Still at least what we did get this spring is still liquid, not set hard!
Beautiful field. I'd have to wear sunglasses too. In south Georgia I had to move bees off of canola several times because they had to spray for aphids half way through the bloom. I'm guessing this isn't a problem up there because of the very cold winters?
You said sections wrong lol We took a trip across the prairies last year yellow for hours. Quick question for you what would fields of blue flowers be? It did not look like alfalfa to me.
what months of the year does canola flower for you guys in Canada , here in Australia our early crops up north have been going a month now but down south its still cold and winter time here but our early crops are just breaking now as we head into almond pollination
Really amazing, where are you located? I hope to work with you and it is a great honor for me. Do you need employees? Knowing that I have a long history in this field, as it was my own business. Thank you.😊
They're not minions, next year get them canola yellow bee jackets. Then they'll be minions and you can be king Bob. I think that's Bob Binnie's nickname you may need to pick something else 😊.
As beekeeper in New Zealand i haven't see the setup before. Whats the pro and cons of running 3, 6 framers? I could imagine you get more honey early in the season, but are restriting brood nest grow later in the spring.
"it's nice having a crew so I don't have to work!"
*steals an important part of the crew to assist him with not working.... Sheesh
❤❤🎉🎉😅😅
❤❤🎉🎉😅😅
The yacky one is slowing things down. Must be a real beekeeper. Mouth always running.
That intro footage looks like the old windows XP background. Beautiful out there that time of year. Thanks for sharing!
Great footage of the crew working - could sit and watch that all day
WOW. That crew works with the precision of a "bee hive".😊

I am older.
I don't see Minions.
I thought at first it was Oompa Loompas.
But watching them in action, I definitely see Munchkins.
LOL

If you get yellow suits they will look like minions 😂
Now that’s some canola there sir, no wonder you pull a good crop.
Hi lady

That potential in those flowers! Best wishes for great weather conditions and everything!😎💪🏻🐝🐝🐝
Proud dad moment 👏

Salam hangat
Almost like the Count on Sesame Street
One, two, three frames of Brood, 🧛♂️
Get your minions a radio and you’ll have a waggle dance on your hands, 🎵💃🏻🕺🏼
Nice. In Russia we use bears.
Hi
My back says.. "Get some minions!"🤕🤕🤕🤓
Love those 6s

The Lolipop Guild - Welcome to Munchkin land!
This is how it should be done. Good job!
Happy it's clear there. We are so smoked out in central BC I worry all the honey is going to come to a hard stop
We have air quality alerts in Atlanta as a result of Canadian wildfires. It’s smoky!
Very very nice work❤
Interesting you are just going into canola, that is our first crop here in the UK flowers in April. Will be combining in a couple of weeks.

Oh it happens
Just wondering,,,does the canola crop show any better yield in areas near your hives?
You said sections wrong lol

Flax
April has good camera skills. You should hire her full time. 😁
Hay you need show your bee yard truck with the crane/lifter more . It a awesome set up .😮
That will be a major player during the honey harvest
Amazing bosku
Get that nectar!!
Haloo sobatku

Do you close the hives when they spray?
Where can I find one of those minions?😉
👍
who's that at the end in the half bee suit, jeans and a smoker not doing much work, looks like hes lost and just whistling lol
Lol

Thank you.😊
Im from Nepal
How do you keep the nest dry so that the queen is not squeezed out?
Give them enough room up above
Are you having a northern lights party tonight? Get some video with your hives in the foreground.
Hello friends good hani bees
They're not minions, next year get them canola yellow bee jackets. Then they'll be minions and you can be king Bob. I think that's Bob Binnie's nickname you may need to pick something else 😊.
4:04 queen at the bottom right for a sec
Why don’t you face all the pallets outward? Drift?
Can I apply beekeeper...I'm from Philippines 🇵🇭
Im form Nepal
Dalton?
Класная техника
Totally unreal,4-5box per hive on canola, how meny of them will be full.
Any meaning to the colors on the Nuc lids?
It means that was the color on sale, or what happened to be sitting in the back of the shop drying out.... Lol
(probably ;) )
hello, I'm a beekeeper from Romania, would you accept me to learn your technology? I'm waiting for an answer!! please
" Windows "
The opening scenery looks like " windows " screen shot

My memory is he's just putting the nucs to work, they haven't graduated to a full size box yet.
I think my 12 year old is taller than your minions.
