A 4 cylinder GM in the same configuration is almost 6k more. A Tacoma SR5 in my area is over 10k more. They are shifting the cost of RV production to their other cars and inflation have made the prices ridiculous.
I also got one of these and am going to put a Whipple supercharger on it.
A Chevy v8 single cab 4x4 is cheaper than this truck when built on their website
@Globerty GM does not offer a V8 in the single cab short bed config. The single cab and short bed comes with the 4cyl. And when you compare the price on lot (destination etc) the GM is more expensive.
you can buy a nice reestored bumpside for $20-$25k w a coyote swap that is smog exempt !
4 wheel drive is an option.
So fords the only one making the truck I want, and it costs 43k to enter into a world of hell where you’ll end up spending 14k to replace the taillights when the LEDs fail and god knows what else that will cause you to go bankrupt to keep it on the road. Hard pass. Used cars exist for a reason.
4 x 4!!! Yes
I dont know how i feel about the front end with the grill wrapping around the headlights
Good lard them dodges get crusty
I need one
It’s already leaking oil!!
lol it's $39,500 without discounts
all right guys hello guys, what's up guys. hi guys....youtubes mandatory opening
Can’t wait to buy one in 10 years for 30k :)
My 2019 f250 4x4 supercab was 3k cheaper. Trucks are an absolute ripoff now. I guess ford is trying to double their prices now to make up for cars they don’t manufacture anymore.
Wow!! To expensive!!!!
Shart bed. Shart 🛻 truck
This is lit
Who doesn't like the 5L Coyote!?
You can build a better truck with the same engine for that money! What!? 😂😂😂
Cool
All you mfs just see its a xl and is so quick to say they would never pay that price cause its a “base” truck. This “base” truck offers a hell of alot more then your basic daily midsize sedan driver and in the end of the day its a pickup that can tow and has 4x4 to get you through the roughest of terrain. Not to mention it will do 0-60 in under 5 seconds stock. Please do show me a comparable truck for 43k. You cant!
Exactly that’s my argument. Chevy and Dodge all have 40k base model trucks yet nothing compares to a 5.0 4x4 that can tow race etc etc. people don’t realize this is a hell of a good deal in 2024
7.3 godzilla then you would have something then
2020 f250 stx plow package 42k
Yes but by next year Chevy is gonna have a 45k base model. Ford will be above that. 3 years a lot has changed. A Chevy base model is 39k? I think fords is 40k+… you’re lucky you got it when you did
*A 5.0L **#V8** in a small (not sure why a 2024 model is that small even with one cab) **#Ford** **#F150** with nearly zero options at $44k? Who wrote that up? A crackhead? 🤨 That's the type of truck you pay $10k to $15k for AND THAT'S IT. They've lost their minds with this one. "Affordable".*
All trucks are overpriced, but I’m not their target audience.
Can I get it in 2wd with a 6 speed
nopr
No
2017 I think is last year
It's bad enough the damn cars can't turn on a dome light without asking the PCM for permission. Lack of bolt action transmissions is sad
The 6 speed is trash. Lasts until 150k miles🤮
My 2015 had it… 157k rolled around and it peaced out 😂 never again. 10 spd now 234k going strong
Rip off… that truck is 34k at best
That's not a "little truck", and that's not a "short bed". It's a standard bed. It's also aluminum, and has a shitty 10-speed tranny
People should stop buying these overpriced trucks.
That’s a $22k truck
really? I bet it sells for over $30k ten years from now.
Show me a base model truck for 22k? LMFAO
No thanks
Overpriced.
5.0 still sucking down the oil???
W😂😂😂😂is
Still over priced
It aint cool it's stupid.
No it's not. If you opt for the 8ft bed you can still get the V6 ecoboost
Garbage truck.
Ford sucks
they all suck
They can keep it.
It is a 302 thay made it sence the 1960
Completely different engine! 💯
Its actually a 307 cubic inch 5.0
Old 302 was a OHV Over Head Valve engine. New one is a DOHC double overhead cam
@@Suckmyring buddy, the coyote engine from 2011 - current is 302.1 cubic inches. where are you getting 307?
@@Jumper365 look up the gen 4 f150 coyote. Per ford it’s actually 307 cubic inches. I dont know about the mustang variation
Now put the wheels from the STX on that!!!!!!!
