i can definetely say that i've improved a lot. i would say that im inbetween the noob and pro sections. i already know enough controls, but when i try to make music i always hate them because they sound childish/videogame-like. i just gotta keep practicing!
Even some pros will not know much about music theory, but they still make good melodies and chords, it's possible to make melodies and chords even if you are lacking knowledge of music theory.
