Outstanding information I have been telling my younger family members this for years but hearing it from someone not there older cousin would work better
Man this is Great info! Thanks so much. I live in the nyc where the football programs are really bad. Teams only run the ball most of the time because the QB's cant throw, but I have a major back ground in football and my 15 year old 6'4 son started on varsity because of his pocket ability to throw the ball. He will have the size for a top QB in college. We are going to try D3. He has two more years on varsity. If some big school finds him, it will only be a Bonus. Thanks for your help.
If you just finished your senior season is there any reason to go to camps move forward. Current offers are 3 D3 schools. Each promising starting roll coming in.
If you feel you can compete at that level, go for it. If you excel, it can certainly help your recruiting process. However, if I only have a limited number of camps to attend, I would go to the school camps that I really believe I have a good chance of earning a scholarship and have established relations with coaches.
I have been interested in playing college football always have been since I was a kid. I was invited to many camps, Showcases, junior day football, and universities. I also received emails from college head coaches, but I didn't check my email like I should have and missed many opportunities. I received my first invite freshman year but couldn't make it. I received the rest from sophomore through senior year of high school. I am currently a freshman in community college and have many regrets. What can I do to play football at the next level?
I’m 14 and my freshmen season is almost ending should I start going g to these camps and show my talent and how will you know what type of camps is going on. How do you find the school that is having camps
Dude, go. I made the mistake of not going and missed the opportunity of playing college ball. I was invited to many showcases, and camps also received emails from head coaches at universities. I recently found out I was selected as one of the top 200 for the best high school players, and I missed it all because I never checked my emails, and now I am a freshman in college. Now I have a ton of regrets. Get noticed, trust me. This year, I plan to train, lift weights, and do more cardio to do a walk-on next season.
We cover it in another video, but Junior days are not typically camps. Most Junior Days consist of college invites to certain athletes that they are interested in. Parents are welcomed and there is a program which normally includes a tour of the facilities. It is also an opportunity for the head coach to make a lot of offers. So, the best part is when they tell you that the head coach wants to speak with you after the day is over
Im 13 years old and their is a camp for the University of Illinois but you have to 14-20. Do you think i should still go to the camp or it wouldn’t make sense
I believe that's a bit early unless you have been personally contacted to attend because you are a projected 5 star player. However, if that is one of your dream school, you can go and see how the camp works so that you are prepared for your attendance as a freshman
@@educatingathletes Well the reciever coach followed me on twitter and I just want to go for experience and to show my talent early and it’s really cheap and i live close. And thanks
Hello. I am interested in going d1-1a and currently going into my freshman year of highschool but I live in a smaller state (Kansas). I have been personally invited to a couple of camps by the schools db coach. I play cornerback and want to know what I should do from here
Join a 7v7 team focus on becoming a better cornerback and athlete run track for your school the 100m or the triple jump or long jump. Go to skill camps and lots of camps and then when college camps start go to those their very important go to some of the smaller d1 schools in your area.
The cutting line advice I wouldn’t agree with. They have cameras and make it known anyone cutting shows poor character sure there are camps that don’t pay attention but that’s a risk to take but good video
Google the name of the college followed by "football coaching staff". Most colleges provide the emails of their coaches and their phone numbers. Call the position coach or recruiting coordinator and ask him if he will be attending the camp. This is a good opportunity to also email him your highlight tape. If he is not attending, ask him who will be there for you to get more information on the football program.
The best way is to contact the colleges you are interested in and ask them which camps they send coaches to. Then Google the information for attendance. With the pandemic, a lot has changed and Google is your best resource.
This might be the most honest and important video I've ever listened to. Thank you.
Thank you

Go Juco or NAIA, show out, then d1 offers should come in

@@AngelGarcia-yr9bp What camps do you recommend
What about junior day football camp

Some good information. But this is outdated. D1 coaches cannot attend a camp unless its on a college campus.
