There’s something so endearing/enchanting about that cut of Mack (as Kevin in home alone) watching the scenes after real life Mack was talking about watching it as a child.
This is one of my most watched movies of all time. i remember watching it at my cousin's house on the weekends along with Terminator, Raiders of the Lost Ark and Purple Rain. We watched these 4 over and over again. We watched other movies but always came back to these 4. Brings back wonderful memories of family and VCRs and VHS tapes.
I'm so happy they covered The Last Dragon, it's my absolute favorite movie. It doesn't take itself to seriously, the message works on different levels for kids and adults, the foreshadowing is done right, the reveal of Sho Nuff is great and his ability to use the glow is one of the hypest old school "oh shit" reveals. The laughs are there, the martial arts are fun to watch, the 80's style is in full force, and it's just a feel good fucking movie, man.

I just learned after watching this that Leo O’Brien passed away 8 years ago, he was only 41 when he died and the story behind the cause is sad. To be fair, Taimak is not a bad martial artist. I got to train with him many years ago and he does put in the work. I really hope he's watched this! He was trying to get a sequel to this made a while back but don't think it ever gained traction sadly. I'd still watch that.

I remember Sho’ Nuff actor as Lord Bowler in the tv series “Adventures of Brisco County Jr.” with Bruce Campbell. He’s fun to watch in that show!

My favourite TV series of all time
I always love seeing Mac! He's fun to watch and listen to. He said that Vanity's 7th Heaven performance is memorable. I agree with him. I saw The Last Dragon in the cinema when I was sixteen and Vanity's number was the only scene that stuck with me. That's why I bought the soundtrack.
Hey, the characters were like Double Dragon or Street Fighter before those things even existed.
