    I was blessed to watch Pastor Doug's Testimony in 2017, it truly encouraged me when Christ saved me from my addictions.

    Thank you so much for posting this. It is one of the best testimonies I have ever heard. I am a Christian but had been growing weak through "harmless" creative distractions. This video was just the pill I needed to get revived. May God bless you and Pastor Batchelor.

    2023 and it's so incredible to hear this testimony. My friends told me a bit about his story and to look him up. It sounded so impossible I didn't believe my friends at all! Now I can't deny the truth of Doug 's testimony at all. God is so so good

    “Why is the personal testimony of God’s people so important? And why it is so hated? Why have men from the days of the apostles been thrown in prison because of it? And why did Paul rely on personal testimony in his hours of crisis?
    Here’s the reason. Theology can be contested. Doctrine can be argued and contradicted. The indwelling Christ cannot be. There is no argument, answer against it. Who could argue with Paul about the Damascus road and how he had been changed? Men could see it. Everybody knew it. He himself was the living evidence of what God can do!” - God Is In A Hurry by Marjorie Lewis Lloyd
    My God is so great! So strong and so mighty, there’s nothing my God cannot do… for you!

    It was in the very early 90s. I watched a vhs series called something like “the value of prophecy” (still looking for it to this day) that a 7th day woman loaned me. There was no internet as we know it back then. Then somehow I got wind of Amazing Facts and heard about a millionaire in a cave. We all have a testimony and it is something the enemy can never take from you. Share it no matter how easy or hard your life was. Whether you’re a preachers kid or a convicted “fill in the blank”. Peace.

    This an amazing testimony from a rich man who left everything to be God's messager. He was very good with his sick brother and he prayed for him in his dying bed. We have an awesome God who loves us despite our disobedience to His word.

    Really great ‘share’. Thanks. I’m wondering how you became an SDA of all denominations?!?! I dislike E. G. white’s overblown commentary just giving her own opinions about real Biblical happenings. She invented stuff that we don’t know actually happened. No one can do that. The Bible is the ultimate. The most ridiculous assertion that she made was that Jesus turned water into pure grape juice. Oh come on please.

      The Bible says wine in the KJV 1611 Translation. The reason being alcoholic wine is a type of the Spirit. And why would the governor of the feast speak of the better wine being saved untill the last. Because the new covenant was better than the first. The wedding in Cana a type of the marriage supper of the lamb. And the new wine that will be drank in the New Jerusalem. No it wasn't A big batch of Welches he whipped up that day.

      Actually Jesus turned water into wine. It was His first miracle. He was at a wedding and they ran out of wine. Read the Bible

    Who is this totally boring audience. No reaction - I can’t believe it. How difficult it must have been to tell your story to that useless bunch.

      Well this wasn't a rock concert. They reacted respectfully, and reverently. This is in Australia not America, where everything is reacted to in stand-up comedy fashion. And why so angry.

      Adventist culture is not to clap but to say 'Amen'. It's never great to assume things, buddy.

      A church is not a amusement shed, where you will clap your hands. Have you not read from the Bible, "the Lord is in His holy temple; let all the earth keep silence before Him" (Habakkuk 2:20). This is a Seventh-day Adventist Church; we keep silent in the church before the Lord, except in preaching and praising.

    A man dishonoring his father and mother by exposé is not a personal testimony I want to hear.

    • @elroyroy7325
      @elroyroy7325 4 ปีที่แล้ว +15

      Dishonoring? He just told the truth...Do you want him to keep it secret, or to lie about it? No it's better this way cause it helps us understand where he comes from. A beautiful testimony.

    • @truthmatters77
      @truthmatters77 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't know how you understand 'dishonouring'? What Pr Batchelor has done is tell his testimony, which included ugly or sad truths.
      Like, your just a sad sack. Negative without understanding. Shallow.
