Scarlet Witch is the daughter of Magneto and the sister of Quicksilver and Polaris. She also has a crush on Nightcrawler. Wanda is a member of Magneto's Acolytes. She lives in the metal palace with her family, and does not appear to leave the island of Genosha.

@@garreth321 clearly you haven't seen the battle between scarlett witch and thor in the comics, which are the most reliable source anyways. With all her powers of changing reality, she still knew she couldn't beat thor. The only way she and havoc could survive is removing him from the battle.

This was my first Scarlet Witch so I have a very strong attachment to this version of the character. I was even go as far as to say that, in my mind, this is the authentic version of the character.
I think you are right. I think it is the "original" or better "one of the first" versions of hers. Her powers were left undefined so every single writer was adding more to her for the plot. To be honest I am turned off by the version of hers being a goddess that creates universes with a snap of her fingers (or even that she is an actual spellcaster in some versions). I myself from the clips and stuff I have seen I prefer this version of hers ten times better. She is really powerful and has a good set of abilities like probability manipulation, hex-bolts, matter manipulation etc.but she is not some...unbeatable goddess that can kill and re-create everyone with a snap of her fingers. I liked this version because she is clearly powerful but not "Mary Sue-ish" either.
But agreed usually the first version we see is the version we grow more attatched to.

Ok guys. So the way her powers work is that she can alter reality and create powerful “fields” or “barriers” of energy that wrap around an object at her will. She can control matter limitlessly by creating these barriers around matter. That’s also how she can influence minds and create visions. She moves the matter inside someone’s brain to create the hallucinations. Those shields/barriers are inpenetrable and if blasted with a continous beam of the barriers, they can destroy even an infinity stone. It’s like if you could create indestructible plastic baggies around any object you wanted but also any shape you wanted the plastic baggies to be. If you blast something with enough of those indestructible bags it will break things.

Magneto possibly one of the most powerful mutants, Wanda can alter reality and cast powerful hex’s, Lorna can manipulate the electromagnetic field around anything making her nearly as powerful as her daddy then you have pietro

Well his running abilities are cool in movies. The good thing is he isn't evil or imagine coming across a mutual who can run fast and even tense up the speed of time, making him totally invisible in his opponent's eyes and killing them all in nano second.

This show was my first exposure to Wanda. In fact, Wolverine and the X-Men was my first exposure to a lot of the X-Men's comic arcs, from the Phoenix Saga to Days of Future Past to Apocalypse. It's crazy how she and Pietro were the first 'mutants' to be introduced to the MCU due to sheer power scaling

I think there was an alternate universe in the comics where Nightcrawler and Scarlet Witch got together and a had daughter that looked Kurt and had Wanda’s powers.

They made designs for it, but they decided not to go with it.
Not all comic looks must be adapted, just imagine Cap and Thor having helmets with feathers, or Wolverine with his mask that blocks his sight. Looks good in cartoons maybe, but not practical in kinda real life situation. Just look at the MCU Falcon, his look is not like in the comic, but it made him more believable.

The only reason they made the change of her Mutant background was because of FOXs purchase, Of the X-Men & Mutants from Marvel. But now that the X-Men are back home in Marvel. Wanda’s background and family ties will be restored !

This was the only version of Wanda/Scarlet Witch I liked. She’s compassionate, idealistic, brave, protective of those she cares about, and extremely sexy in this series. And I loved the relationship between her and Kurt/Nightcrawler.

Writers had lots of changes when it comes to her abilities. But I know shes resistant to Phoenix Force.
On MCU/Avengers movies, she had different powers. Fox only agreed as long as she wont be referred to as a Mutant/witch, but an experiment. Thats why her abilities were telekinesis, mind manipulation and energy manipulation only, which was from one of the stones.
It was now updated that she wasnt a witch by experiment but the experiment amplified her powers as we saw in wandavision that shes a witch since birth (bc we saw her using magic without knowing when she was young) so the experiment forged her magic to developing scarlet witch and now at the end of the season shes forged to be a done developed scarlet witch.
