Notice when Sabo says "Thank You" how genuine, heartfelt, and respectful It's said. He means it. Not just this interview, any interview he gives you'll see it. He's a rare gem in the business. I hope his model is one of the most successful signiture runs Kramer ever makes. I'm buying one partly to support Snake...but also because it's cool as hell.
Love Dave's humble personality. I just bought one of these guitars from Lucas at Sweetwater and I absolutely love it. Did a quick set up and started jamming. This guitar is 1980s Hair Metal Glory! It's so well balanced and the neck is like butter. The pickup is exactly what you want to capture the greatest era of rock! The graphics? GET THE F**K OUT! Thank you, Gibson/Kramer for recognizing the greatness of the man, his original guitar, and the era of Hair Metal.
Gave away my only Kramer years ago to my nephew. Loved this interview. I used to listen to Skid Row back in the late 80s, 90s and had no idea who was behind the sounds. (band members etc.) CDs still in a box in my closet. Really great insight into what was going on with this band back in their time. I was already way too old to be listening and enjoying their sound even in the 80s and 90s but I loved it! Really appreciate the work Sweetwater puts into history and the stories letting us in on "the behind the scenes" aspects of sounds, gear and most importantly the people that make the magic.
I ordered mine from Sweetwater 4-5 months ago, absolutely blown away, amazing guitar. I have an original Kramer Nightswan (Aztec) and that's always been my baby, however has a lot of milage lol. So I've always love this Sabo guitar from the old days and jumped at the chance, I sold my Gibson Les Paul to buy it. No regrets, the only thing I did to mine was I actually removed the D-tuna and had a FU-Tone block installed. It always stays in tune, sounds fantastic and plays amazing. The pick up is more of a mid to high output I would say. I have an old Hamer Californian with a Seymour Duncan Invader and it's no quite as hot, the T85 is definitely more usable lol. Fantastic guitar, they knocked this outa the park with this guitar, I want another one actually lol.

While these might not be the classic Kramer’s of the 80’s… I think these are fantastic for the money and the snake Beretta with a good setup is awesome!
Huge Skid Row fan back in the day. The First two albums were in constant rotation during my High School years. (That and the Road Kill Video). I almost wanna kinda buy this guitar. $949 huh? Hmm... Maybe. Although I usually attribute Snake with his ESP's more.

Anyone else’s have problems with the dtuna at such a heavy angle it’s impossible to use and angered so heavily it will probably scratch the paint if you did get it out

only problem with his hope that viewers get to play the guitar is, this viewer is left handed and kramer/gibson doesn't offer that model left handed.

mmmmm, not really. The idea of a guitar virtuoso is strongly associated with 80s metal. Many of them were extremely and still very highly rated.
