So glad you took the advice to make these “Funeral” episodes. This woman “Grace”. She can be anyone’s mother or grandmother. Very relatable to many people. That and you’re a natural story teller. Look how many likes it’s getting! 👍🏻
Great story Ralfy. Really enjoyed. The family of Amazing Grace stuck a cord with me. I lost both my parents before I was 19 and realised that family was not what I thought it was. They are just people that are connected to you that you wouldn't normally hang out with. It toughens you up though when you have to fend for yourself at a young age. Some people get lucky with relatives I guess though. Cheers and like this new series of videos. Cheers, Adam
It was John Lennon who said, "Life is what happens to you while you're making other plans." It was also Mike Tyson who said, "Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the face." Thanks for sharing your perspective. It all helps us get through whatever it is we are faced with on the path.
Very many aspects of that story apply to many elderly people living alone, shame on anyone who sees the elderly as pray, I have seen both sides of people their goodness and humanity, and their pure greed when it comes to property and money, I have been married for 37 years to my wife who is also my best friend.
Great story Ralfy and it hits home for me. It made me think of my great grandfather who came to America as a dirt poor peasant and worked hard to eventually become a very wealthy man. In 1970 when he was in failing health, my father told me the rest of the family hid my GGF in a hospital to die alone since they had already gotten their hands on their inheritance. Instead of building on his incredible legacy, these people and their descendants spent the next 50 years fighting over everything my great grandfather had built. When it all ended just a few years ago, there was nothing left but a few scraps, a broken family and bad memories.
Loved this video Ralfy. It was very touching. My two best friends have both passed away recently in less than two years. It's hit me hard. I'm now trying to enjoy my life as much as possible not to worry and be kind to people.
GREAT idea for an ongoing subject to expore: the taboo topic of death. I find it utterly fascinating and not discussed nearly enough.. Looking forward to more of your stories!
A really touching story, I would have liked to have met Grace. There is a gravestone in my local cemetery (where I take my dogs for a walk most days) for a woman called Sophie Such. She lost both her 21yr and 23yr old sons in France in WW1 and then her 56yr old husband 3yrs later. I don't know her story but I am guessing that her husband died of heartache (and probably of alcohol abuse) and I just can't imagine her pain being left all alone after losing her three loved ones. War is always evil. Thanks for this story, ralfy, I look forward to hearing more.
Love that cane. Good for self-defence. As long as our body is alive, we must stand up and fight back.... For self-defence only of course. Thank you Ralfy 🙏🤍😽
I've played hundreds of Chinese funerals in NYC (we have three China Towns, Manhattan, Brooklyn and Flushing), one tune that is always played at the Buddhist funerals is Auld Lang Syne. I heard it was very popular in China at one time
you obviously follow him because the whisky channel, no level of alcohol is safe (according to the world health organization), so surely, by your logic.... yep, when you point the finger, 3 point back to make you look like a right clem 😂
Sharp new haircut, Ralfy! Makes you look younger, can’t lie. 👍

Thanks for sharing. I hope to hear more about your time as an undertaker.

My dearest childood friend passed away a few weeks ago at the young age of 42. Thank you for this video Ralfy. It helped me get another perspective.
Thank you for sharing the story of "Amazing Grace". Also, I recently got a copy of Life, Death, and Whisky, I look forward reading it soon.

We need more stories like that to find our faith in humanity again.

Thank you Ralfy 🙏🤍😽
Great story! Grace seem to have been a nice person. But for others that's not, I don´t see why you should give them a good and expensive send of.
Wow, cool, stylish look) 👌
Right you are, still have my and my dad’s Airborne Maroon Berets.
Thank you.
Food for thought, think i will get the book.
I just ordered your books. Can't wait to read the stories.

Would you tell us in a video sometime -- if you haven't already -- why you chose to go into the undertaker business?
This is quite an interesting twist to this channel. I bought that book, will follow to get the directors cut too😊
Amazing story
you confirm my suspicion about people, also family, not caring.
Hey ralphy, I hope you follow your own advice and enjoy those cigars in moderation
Any form of smoking is stupid...

Your new haircut is excellent! It "really" "really" suits you. You look amazing! ❤️
