Setting up a wicking bed ready for July planting

The battle of tree roots and termites has meant the conversion of our back vegetable garden to wicking beds has begun. With a section of garden being turned into carport we had to relocate a wicking bed.

Just wondering did you use a food grade IBC? I’ve been getting mixed responses from people

We used ones that were used for food, I think olive oil if memory serves. Whether they are food grade or not I am not 100%. I am not keen on using plastic in the garden in general tbh, it’s up there with treated timber classed as safe for vegetable gardens.
