The thing is that Kiss had to left stages cause Paul can't sing anymore... He's doing lypsinc' since 2018 and must be kinda painfull.... I love Paul, but is the truth... Gene must be tired to fake and he in still in good shape...
I saw them live in Seattle for their last show here and was up front. I can verify that Paul didn't lip sync during that because of how many alterations were made during the performance. A good indication that a singer is not lip syncing has to do with how they change the flow of how the lyrics are supposed to be sung as well as if it unmistakeably them. I am coming in with a singing and band background.
It just begs the question of why. A year ago, Gene was in "I'm gettin' too old for this sh*t" mode, and looking forward to the end of KISS. Then this? What little respect that I might have had for Gene just went out the window.
He was done with Kiss Paul Stanley was making them a joke and Gene wanted to keep his solo career alive all respect to him for being a great human being
he meant he grew tired of the KISS shtick...KISS was a monster and needed to be retired, it grew into a giant inflatable joke. His solo band is both ridiculously fun and funny and rockin' all at once...Grandpa Lewis, I mean Simmons, alright!!
