Industrialization quote :
"What I object to, is the craze for machinery, not machinery as such. The craze is for what they call labour-saving machinery. Men go on 'saving labour' till thousands are without work and thrown on the open streets to die of starvation..."
Great work Shekhar Sir.

Did you see MAD series?
You'll love it :)
Meant for hardworking people like you.
Yes sir. I'll have to accept that the questions are well framed and the model answers that go with them add value.
Also, your economics series is spot on, crisp and short. Thank you so much, sir. Looking forward to case studies.

Oh those are really kind words :)
Thank You :)
And do help spread the word (if you believe one can gain something from this project).
Thanks again.
His name is Shekhar 🤔????? R u sure?
Best ailment for Varna Ashram is to practice it as it truly is that is division of labour based on one’s psycho physical nature, not by birth. This will lead to people doing what they are best at, not everyone can become a teacher, not everyone can work hard, not everyone can rule, not everyone can make business,

survival of fittest - Herbert Spencer . Later by Charles Darwin .
Darwin didn't theorise Survival of the fittest. It's a sociologist's imagination based on assumed racial superiority.
शानदार sir आपके प्रयास से हमें बहुत फायदा हो रहा है 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 thank you sir
Even those who are not preparing for UPSC they also must watch
"Survival of the fittest" was coined by Herbert Spencer.
Sociologist Herbert Spencer first used the phrase - after reading Charles Darwin's 'On the Origin of Species' - in his 'Principles of Biology' of 1864 in which he drew parallels between his economic theories and Darwin's biological, evolutionary ones.
Darwin did use the term later.
Darwin responded positively to Alfred Russel Wallace's suggestion of using Spencer's new phrase "survival of the fittest" as an alternative to "natural selection", and adopted the phrase in The Variation of Animals and Plants under Domestication published in 1868.
While the phrase "survival of the fittest” is often used to refer to “natural selection”, it is avoided by modern biologists, because the phrase can be misleading. For example, “survival” is only one aspect of selection, and not always the most important. Another problem is that the word “fit” is frequently confused with a state of physical fitness. In the evolutionary meaning “fitness” is the rate of reproductive output among a class of genetic variants.

26:15 ...sir... your lectures are awesome and I have read somewhere that Gandhi ji was against interdinning and intercaste marriage. He believed that "The restrictions towards
inter-dining have to a great extent helped the cultivation of will power
and the conservation of certain social virtues".
Yes Sir. I also read the same thing.
Yes true. It is given in spectrum also.

This article by sociologist Satish Deshpande on castelessness and the emergence of "general category". He also talks about changing position of Gandhiji throughout his life on caste system and untouchability.
Must read article especially for all sociology students.

Borrowing is not churana kid
Dear sir, how passion a bad feeling? As gandhiji told in swaraj..
Passionate people tends to achieve more in life (through good means).
Here, the context of Passion is loss of reasoning
Isn't the definition of Happiness similar to Integrity. Can a Happy Person a man of Integrity or vice-versa.
Please Clarify Sir.
Please contribute each and everyone min 50-100rs per month it's more than enough for sleepy classes to sustain and maintain quality teaching.
Main rule try to contribute everyone. Around 15k viewers are there.. I request all of you to contribute. Because what we are getting is 100s time more than what we are contributing.

MAHATMA GANDHI ON IDUSTRIALISATON SAYS -

Arihant's pdf link?
sir is k pdf kahan milenge please tell us
Hello sr aap gk ka b padatee hoo???
Word to word gandhiji ne kaha hai ya yeh notes hai
can the pdf be provided plz ?
+A U
Maybe by this weekend we can have a plug-in in our website to give you PDFs.
Gandhiji was against interdining and inter caste marriage, he was not supporting it.
gandhi ji ne dusro ka bhala kya pr logo ne unko mar dya ..Nathuram godse ..yha unki theory fail ho gai. satyagraha principal fail ho gea
you should read ghandhi ji fully and nathuram too then for sure it can help us to develop few points but not fully as still statement of Nathuram is not public so its all dicy
Now I know that some of the ideas of Gandhi are totally irrelevant today. For eg: naxals and terrorists can never be overwhelmed by appealing to their heart.
Thanks sir
