Oh, It’s much more than “pulled off,” it’s SO well done. I just love it! All the animal scenes are perfect! I’d never have guessed some were props! Wow 🤩

Honestly you have NO idea how much I love they use live animals and not puppets. It really makes a difference

Those 'sick'' sheep looked so real - and it was such an emotional scene. Amazing.

My favourite dogs were the Border Collies. I've had many: Gem ( an Aussie/BC-my first), Tess Siobhan, her pups (including JackBNimble), Gypsy Rose Lee ( my first red/ white gal with right blue eye and left brown eye), and her cousin/BFF Little Bo Peep. Jack had 4 girls and 2 boys with Bo Peep and the following year had 4 girls and 2 boys with Gypsy. If they weren't herding hens, chipmunks, squirrels, ducks, or geese, they were herding children on skateboards or bicycles, anyone on a riding tractor, or me. Tess indicated to me one day in '94 that something was wrong with me when she kept sniffing at me. She herded me to the glucose monitor I bought for my mother as she'd been diagnosed with Diabetes 2. Little did I know that she had also let my mother know she had it the same way before her dr. told her she had it. I checked myself and it was high. When she saw that mine was low one night, I told my mother we needed another monitor for her and made an appt. for me. I had type 2 too. Tess, JackBNimble, Gypsy, and Bo Peep have been over the Rainbow Bridge since '18 and I miss them all. They're probably herding St. Francis around or playing Border Collie Soccer together- no rules, just fun!

I love the show, but I have to say every time Jess the golden retriever is shown, he looks really stressed. He's always panting, but he's just supposed to be sitting quietly, not running or doing anything that should make him pant like that. That's what dogs do when they're stressed. I should know because I have a housefull of dogs, always have. I'm also just really sensitive and empathetic to dogs' emotions.
