Space-saving tip from a fellow FA: it’s weird but breast milk bags are a good storage option for meal prep. I have the same lunchbox & it gets tough packing enough food in it for multiple days away from home. I’ve replaced some of my Tupperware with the resealable, heat-safe breast milk pouches (tip courtesy of a coworker) & it works great for me.
Great video! 👍 You know what you need? You need a foldable silicone plate! Food grade silicone can take heat up to 225C/450F so it's oven safe, microwave safe, lightweight and when folded, takes up no room at all. Some plates also have a cover (for when you have no microwave in your room and you have to transport your food to and from and microwave to your room for instance) and there are also foldable silicone lunch boxes. I have a deep silicone plate that fits a large salad but it's only an inch thick when it's folded. It's my favorite travel and camping accessory and I also use it to transport my lunch to work. For travel, I can put most of my food in silicone bags (saves tons of room and weight in my cooler) and I just whip out the plate when I have to heat or eat my food.

i honestly don’t have any special tips. i typically just you frozen ice packs. i also always freeze water bottles and keep them in my cooler w food as well. A good lunch box makes all the difference
See that’s my exact problem right now. I am in real need of a bigger lunch box. I had to leave my fresh juices at home because I ran out of space!! But typically when I’m at work I mainly drink water and just hook my water bottle on to my suitcase

I’m going to be traveling for 5 days for work and trying to figure out the best system to meal prep and keep my food cold on the plane, any ideas?

Smart to meal prep. Where do you put something to drink? I cant imagine them on the sides of the lunchbox
