I'm back did you miss me? join me as I discover more parts of the black side of Colombia as we find some gold, visit some tourist destinations and I can't forget the amazing nightlife trust me you don't want to miss this video watch to the end to get the insite from foreigners from Texas who have been living in the city for half a year
Absolutely baba 👊🏿
This Was Good…?
Yes🎉
Ace, turn up your volume a bit, brother.
ACE, we did miss you. There was a long gap between you and J.Lo being in the tree top bubble and showing us the first part of this blog...but we are glad to have you back showing us how our fellow brothers and sisters are living in the Americas. May they keep living true to themselves. They need to remember that they are not alone and we are all looking out for them all over the world, which we don't get to see until you and others go there to visit and showcase their environment and show us all. May they all be blessed and stay safe and look after each other.
Thank you Ace for having me!
If you are in Colombia and want to know the culture and community of black people you have to come to Quibdó, capital of the department of Chocó.
We are a community that maintains and preserves black culture. I strongly believe that the best thing about the Chocó is not gold, nor food, nor music; it is its people 🖤
Thank you for showing me around. I really appreciatewith those who are trying to get in contact with my tour guide. His information is in the Description Above
I’m planning to come in January. I will definitely link up with you.
I am interested in checking out your city and your culture. Are there direct flights into Choco?
Please reach out to me bro, I am from baltimore but I played for the professional basketball team in Choco. I would love to speak you about the experience there. It is really one of the best places I’ve had to pleasure to play in. I didn’t take full advantage of the hidden gems in the city.
@@ballnbeyondinc.3716 hi bro!
My information is in the description
Thank you, Ace, for showing us our Afro-Colombian Brothers and Sisters. We need to unite Worldwide!
Amen
Yes we need to, their lifestyle is exactly like the Ga’s here in Accra, it’s fun when u with them.
You could easily promote Afro Colombian turism in America for Afro-Americans who want to be in paradise.
We need to bring BLM back

YEAH! NO WHITE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!
They are indigenous to Colombia…they ain’t from no damn africa
@@injun6896 Afro American, Afro Latino, Afro Caribbean. But I never heard of a Afro african🤣
they are not from africa , disrespectful , these people are native born , you can't use a slave story to label them african. what is this non sense of afro latino
These people are our family!
If youre from there sure.
All people of African descent are family.
Facts, but, make no mistakes, we have our own culture, identity, history here in the America's that belongs to us.@@ismarjovannypalaciosmena.1701
@@00700556Nah, they are... Nationality is the only separation! We are the same people dropped off in different lands speaking our oppressor language.

Watching fr Jamaica 🇯🇲 I didn’t know they have a black side to Colombia 🇨🇴. Knowledge is power can’t too old to learn. Great video thanks for sharing this video.
Colombia has the second largest black population in latin America Brazil is number one
Colombia, Venezuela, Honduras, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Brazil, Mexico, and Haiti. All those places.
Again; the hidden black Argentinians
Same ships, different ports
This place and the culture are similar to the country side in 🇯🇲
The remote Colombian city of Quibdo was home to the country’s only museum dedicated to the history and culture of Afro-Colombians - until the museum closed its doors last month.
😢😢
I will check on it. Interesting.
They need to open back up so tourist can come!
C'mon Black millionaires the world over, especially in Africa, please go take over the museum and support it with funding. Leave your mark / make history in Colombia 🇨🇴 with this museum. Don't waste your money on buying flashy cars.
Why did it close its doors?
Those people are the original people from Colombia and they deserve their respect as the original people of that land.
Well, that's a load of c***
Black people are not indigenous south american indians If you did the roots of all the people in your video, they all come out of africa, I guarantee.
We love our brothers and sisters wherever they are, love ❤️ from Canada 🇨🇦 🙌🏿✊🏿👏🏿
Black is beautiful.
The lady on the old house make me cry, she clearly struggling and still offer you the only thing she have to eat, that chicharrón look amazing. My wife is from Colombia and she is from PUERTO BERRIO another black community town in Antioquia and I LOVE to go there and bring stuff to the people. People in America should be grateful to live on and amazing country full of opportunities. I LOVE COLOMBIA AND I HOPE ONE DAY I RETIRE THERE. good video Ace.
Yeah her house definitely needs to be renovated, flooring needs to be done, plumbing, roofing and whatnot
Ace, I would like to thank you, Marwa and all the other brown travelers for lighting a fire under myself to get my Passport. I have only been to Colombia so-far but I have had many good times there since. Keep showing us the way and peoples of the world bro. You have changed many of us. I also visited Choco this year and it was a nice experience.
Beautiful black people worldwide! I LOVE IT.
YEAH!! NO WHITES NEEDED!!!!!

Love to the people scattered to the four corners ❤
Colombia is beautiful bro, thanks for letting us know this amazing part of black city. Greetings from Africa, South Sudan.
I'm a Colombian with African roots and I love the skins of South Sudanese people.

Love this video. This is truly a hidden gem. And I said this before ain't no people like black people, we are unique.
I love my African descended people throughout the diaspora. We have so many differences but wayyyyy more similarities and its so beautiful. God bless the children of Mama Africa
Im a black, female solo traveler. Currently looking into going to Colombia solo. I've considered Cartagena and Medellin but THIS is the Colombia I want to experience. If it was a bit more developed id feel more confident to go by myself.
That's cool, solo traveler who's a woman. From what I've seen online, Colombia's Choco community seems super safe and exciting. What kind of development do you mean ? Do you mean infrastructure? Also have you visited Afro Communities in other countries ?
Is not save, I coming from there
Puedes venir .medellin es muy lindo, solo infórmate bien y ya esta, cartagena es hermoso, pero los vendedores son un fastidio.
Miami which is developed, I would never advise you to walk at night. Remember, when traveling is to always have a plan. Must of the nicest people I ever met were from underdeveloped areas.
For a foreign woman its not the safest to go to this area. Actually for any foreigner, my family comes from here and not even I myself can go there safely. If you go, just make sure to have a good local gide
Gracias hermano por ir a mi tierra, se me salen las lágrimas siempre que veo la precariedad que vivimos los pueblos negros. Gracias por tu trabajo.

Afrika stands with you and loves you alot. In Kiswahili language we say, "Nakupenda." Meaning I love you ❤.
Masai your name, but in our country Masai ia a triben well cultured.
in the whole planet mate, there is not a thriven black community in the whole planet..
I travel everywhere in the all of Colombia almost nonstop, doing road trips usually by myself in my Medellin plated car (KIA), visiting Colombia since 1990 and now living 10 years in Medellin and glad to say that one of these road trips (in 2019) and I decided to drive to Quibdo and explore the region and the Atrato river....so picture this a 6'-6" tall white gringo with blonde hair and green eyed looking like a California surfer dude (I am originally from Los Angeles) and the ONLY WHITE guy in Quibdo, hats off to the Choco people as everyone respected me, and I them, not ONE issue, never felt out of place, enjoyed talking to locals, dancing/drinking with locals, hired a launcha boat for 4 hours to visit river communities on the Atrato and Quito rivers. Just my honest objective experience of my time in Quibdo. Also been to Nuqui on the Pacific, same experience....I was the only white guy and no issues. Great people, much respect.
I loved watching all of these beautiful people vibe together. Ace has a real chill vibe that makes you smile while watching. I think I could be happy living in this part of Columbia. ❤
My heart is heavy for our brothers and sisters kept a secret around the world 🌎 Brazil also has a story along with many more…thanks for sharing ❤❤❤
Exactly where my lifelong best friend was born but then her family moved to Bogota Colombia and eventually San Francisco California which is where we met as teenagers. I learned to speak spanish and cook fried smashed plantain from her family❣❣❣
ACE ,,,Bless you my Brother ...keep showcasing our People ,No matter where we at ,love you for that ....SALUTE
I really appreciate your insight on black indigenous people in places I never imagined.
They are not indigenous to that land. They are descendents of Africans.
I love seeing how much pride they take in keeping their places clean-no littering, swept sidewalks and steps, pristine natural spots like the waterfall. Excellent video of good people. Thank you.
@@youtubeSOFTashell I don't know how much travel you've done abroad, but in certain countries littering is atrocious. I worked on projects in the Dominican Republic (google "dirty beaches Dominican Republic"), for example, and they had some of the filthiest beaches I had ever seen. Made me appreciate the pride these folks have.
I like the fact there is a hotel and a mall right across the street from the airport in Quibdo
The same thing is happening in Panama. If you travel to Colon--90% blacks--is very depressing. No jobs, no money, living in housing egregiously depleted. The money is largely invested in areas populated mostly by people with the lighter skin. This is the same story everywhere you go.
As an african Black woman i am so sad to see my Blacks brothers and sisters around the world living in such poorerty precarity and discrimination. Whites Peoples stole africans and took them all around the world and made them slaves. It is so sad. I hope one day God will punish them and give us the Victory..God bless Africa and Blacks Peoples
Thank you again Ace for exposing the realities of life for black Latinos in Central America, Descrimination have no boundaries, it is every where for black people.
@@FranciscoBrewster-oj9ng
There is no discrimination against anyone or dark color in the continent of Africa.

As you see the indigenous population of Chocó is still present, the Emberas 3:28. They are one of the nearly 70 indigenous ppls who survived g3nocid3 from 1492 on.
Everything there is name in their language. Their ancestral territory reach also Panama.
When i 'We" I meant all peoples that fit my description, physically, mentally, spiritually, you see my face? Where's yours, so I can identify with who I'm speaking with.@@ErikaM683

Hebrew Israelite people that was scattered around in he four corners of the world through the African trans Atlantic slave trade. We’re the people of the Bible for instance Ezekiel 37 spoke of the dry bones how we’re dead spiritual because we don’t know who we’re as a people.

I just wish people got along like this in our inner cities but I don’t think we were made for the inner city. We were always suppose to be where nature thrives and community isn’t a option, it’s necessary.
I definitely need to visit this place there are some fantastic photo opportunities here.
