A: Because they're parked illegally and take up space our customers need, 24 hours.
Q: But it's night-time. Businesses are closed at night. Do you really have to tow at night?
A: Yes. This business is NOT closed at night. It's very common for techs to visit in the overnight times in order to do maintenance on servers and systems. It's also possible that deliveries may need to be made during after-hours times.
Q: How do you know if it's a customer or not?
A: There is various technology at work to help with this. But the simplest answer is that if they're not in the building and they haven't checked in with the tech desk, their car doesn't belong in the lot.

A: That's not a question, but I get the point. And I've heard it all before. I understand you think you've got a witty, original insult for me. You probably don't. Save yourself the humiliation.

A: Sometimes against my better judgement, generally, yes.
Q: Why don't you just rent out spaces and make money?
A: Because that would eliminate parking spaces for the real customers of the business. It's not worth the few bucks.
Q: Do you get paid a fee or kickback for the towed cars?
A: No.
Q: Are there signs posted about not to park?
A: Yes. No fewer than 6. Usually more if they're not damaged or destroyed.
Q: Your signs are misleading. Do they say 24 hours? Should they be mounted differently?
A: The signs specify 24 hours / 7 days a week. They're mounted in accordance with local laws.
Q: How many cameras do you have?
A: More than 60. Some you can see, some are hidden.
Q: What kind of cameras do you use?
A: A lot of different kinds, based on the application.
Q: Do you feel bad for these people who get towed?
A: Most of the time, not really.
Q: Why are you making fun of the people who get towed?
A: I'm not. I'm posting the videos because I think they're entertaining and educational.
Q: How come you never post videos of cars that belong there?
A: Because that wouldn't be entertaining at all. It would be completely boring.

A: Sometimes we do! It all depends on if we are able to catch what's happening live, but the company's techs have their jobs to do and are not always available to have their eyes glued to the parking lot cameras and be able to run outside.

As a tow truck driver who tows these type of vehicles this hits the nail on the head 100%. I tell all my friends and family to always look for and read signs before randomly parking somewhere. The signs arent there for no reason and this place has a TON of them.

The towing operators have got to be like, "Listen, if you respond to a call at this office, make SURE you don't mess up the tow or it'll end up all over TH-cam."

From what I've seen in a few videos, the drivers do know they're on video. I've seen some wave at the cameras and I've seen one or two wear masks.
I suspect most are independent contractors.
He was lifting those Hondas too high, and transfering all the weight to the front end. I bet lower and he wouldn't jump the cradle so much.

@@CallieMasters5000 - Why? Do you want the car to be damaged? I find it disconcerting and I know that the way these cars are being towed is not exactly correct. They should always belt the tires down. The car didn't park itself illegally; the driver did. Like the fence, it's innocent.

People who use a handicap placard with out needing it are scumbags.
There are plenty of illnesses or conditions that aren't apparent which means a person can't walk very far.
Someone may look fit, but have circulatory, heart or neural conditions which means they can only walk short distances before needing to sit down again.
I know a few people who have been treated as drunks because they have MS but the ignorant jump to conclusions.
@@Cheepchipsable , Yeah, but that spot is not near anything. The permit isn't for that parking space. People who are worthy of the permit have read the rules, and wouldn't use it for that.

The reason for this is because MS "drunkness" is typical of standing up too rapidly - lightheadedness - and stumbling is due to an inner ear problem - which more resembles the stumbling of a senior citizen than it does an actual drunk.
Being confused as a drunk as a poorly controlled diabetic prone to lower blood sugars - due to the confusion, slurred speech, slow reaction times, stumbling, etc. - is far more common than it is for MS patients to be dubbed "drunk".

are lazy. The owner of the gym I used to go to has one and still uses it.
Apparently he was injured several years ago and was on crutches back then. But
now he is perfectly fine but still parks in handicapped spots. This guy is a total
scumbag. I also see this kind of abuse of the disability system a LOT
here in Florida. Seems that half the population is on some disability but
they all get around better then I do and take trips to Europe and such.

I'm a retired Cop and LOVE this channel. Sadly though these idiots call the station and claim their car was "stolen" 99.9% of the time. By the time I got there it was in the system or I called the tow company named ON THE BIG HUGE SIGNS to ask if they had it. "Yep..we have it."
No matter how mad people get for being towed trust me, they go postal when a Cop won't drive them to the tow company. "Does my car say Taxi? And how much have you had to drink tonight? I'll pop you the second you leave the yard for DUI. So NO!"

I hate those that use a disabled tag when they are not the disabled person. I would crush their car
I have a disability parking license because I have problems with my balance ... sometimes. If I'm not having problems that day I DON'T use handicap parking ... we are one community and must care for each other.
States have laws pertaining to handicapped parking some with high fines. Problem is most local police departments won't spend the time enforcing . By the amount of abuse I see when I'm out and about they could hire someone just for that purpose .
If you really want that tag, I can suggest a baseball bat, and make it true.......

What I still hate more though are people who think you can see every disability just like that and then start hating actually disabled people. Disgusting pieces of shit.
